Abstract

A flint wheel lighter with a safety device, comprises a casing, a fuel container disposed in the casing, a vent assembly, an ignition assembly, and a windproof hood above the fuel container, the ignition assembly is arranged on the side opposite to the windproof hood. Said ignition assembly comprises a press plate, a flint, and a flint wheel. A bent safety rod rotatable with the flint wheel is disposed on the side surface of said flint wheel, with both ends of two sections of said bent safety rods protruding out of the rim of the flint wheel. In a safe mode, the end of one section butts against the inner surface of the top cover of the windproof hood, and the end of the other section lies over the flint wheel. The flint wheel lighter with safety rod provided by the present invention can effectively control the operation of the flint wheel by the safety rod, so as to prevent fire disasters and accidents caused by children playing with the flint wheel.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A flint wheel lighter with a safety device, comprises:
 a casing;   a fuel container disposed in the casing;   a vent assembly;   an ignition assembly; and   a windproof hood arranged above the fuel container;
     wherein the ignition assembly is located on the side opposite to the windproof hood; the ignition assembly comprises a press plate, a flint, and a flint wheel; and a bent safety rod rotatable with the flint wheel is disposed on a side surface of the said flint wheel, with both ends of two sections of the bent safety rod protruding out of the rim of the flint wheel; in a safe mode, the end of one section butts against the inner surface of the edge of the top cover of the windproof hood, and the end of the other section lies over the flint wheel.

       2 . The flint wheel lighter with a safety device according to claim 1 , wherein the angle formed by the two sections of the bent rod is 120°.

       3 . The flint wheel lighter with a safety device according to claim 1 , wherein:
 the safety rods are disposed on the two side surfaces of the flint wheel, the safety rods are parallel one another and connected by a shaft; the two safety rods and the shaft form a safety assembly.

       4 . The flint wheel lighter with a safety device according to claim 1 or 3 , wherein the angle formed by the two sections ranges from 60° to 150°.

       5 . The flint wheel lighter with a safety device according to claim 1 or 3 , wherein the flint wheel is coaxially connected to the safety rod, and a correspondent pivot hole is provided in the safety rod.

       6 . A flint wheel lighter with a safety device, comprises:
 a casing; a fuel container disposed in the casing; a windproof hood arranged above the fuel container; a vent assembly disposed on the same side as the windproof hood; and an ignition assembly disposed on the other side; wherein the ignition assembly comprises a press plate, a flint, and a flint wheel which are assembled in a conventional way; the vent assembly comprises a vent valve and a vent needle which are assembled in a conventional way, the vent needle functions to cooperate with the press plate; and the lighter is characterized in that, a bent safety rod rotatable with the flint wheel is disposed on a side surface of the said flint wheel, the angle formed by two sections of the bent safety rod ranges from 60° to 150°, and both ends of the two sections protrudes out of the rim of the flint wheel; in a safety mode, the end of one section butts against the inner surface of the edge of the top cover of the windproof hood, and the end of the other section lies over the flint wheel.

       7 . The flint wheel lighter with a safety device according to claim 6 , wherein:
 the safety rods are disposed on the two side surfaces of the flint wheel, the safety rods are parallel one another and connected by a shaft; the two safety rods and the shaft form a safety assembly.

       8 . The flint wheel lighter with a safety device according to claim 6 or 7 , wherein the flint wheel is coaxially connected to the safety rod, and a correspondent pivot hole is provided in the safety rod.

       9 . The flint wheel lighter with a safety device according to the claim 6 , the angle formed by the two sections of the bent rod is 120°.
