Abstract

CASB618 polypeptides and polynucleotides and methods for producing such polypeptides by recombinant techniques are disclosed. Also disclosed are methods for utilizing CASB618 polypeptides and polynucleotides in diagnostics, and vaccines for prophylactic and therapeutic treatment of cancers, particularly ovarian and colon cancers, autoimmune diseases, and related conditions.

         34 . A method of inducing an immune response in a subject comprising the steps of:
 (a) selecting a subject with a colon cancer tumor; and   (b) administering to the subject a composition comprising a polynucleotide comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence having 95% identity with SEQ ID NO:2 or a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence having 95% identity with SEQ ID NO:2.
