Hand-held toting device
Abstract
The hand-held toting device allows an individual to comfortably and conveniently hold and carry multiple grocery bags, luggage, cases, tool boxes and other such items. The toting device includes a handle and a rotating support rack. The support rack has an inverted T-shaped configuration formed by a cylindrical central column and a pair of opposed boom arms. Multiple items can be suspended from each of the boom arms. The handle provides a comfortable grip to hold and carry the items and rotates so that the carried items oriented to the natural ergonomic position of the individual's hand.

a rack adapted to support the plurality of items; and a handle mounted to the rack for rotational movement relative to the rack part; the rack including a pair of opposed boom arms spaced from the handle, the handle includes a spur shaped body having a contoured surface adapted for accommodating the human hand.
2 . The toting device of claim 1 wherein the rack also includes a central column, the pair of opposed boom arms extending outward from the central column, such that the plurality of items can be suspended therefrom.
3 . The toting device of claim 1 wherein each of the pair of opposed boom arms terminates in an end flange and has a slanted top surface.
4 . The toting device of claim 1 wherein the rack and handle are connected together for rotational movement about an axis perpendicular to the plane in which the pair of boom arms lies.
5 . A hand held toting devices for holding and carrying a plurality of items, such as plastic grocery bags, luggage, briefcases, instrument cases and the like comprising:
a rack adapted to support the plurality of items; and a handle mounted to the rack for rotational movement relative to the rack part, the rack including a central column and a pair of opposed boom arms extending outward from the central column such that the plurality of items can be suspended therefrom, the handle includes a spur shaped body having a contoured surface adapted for accommodating the human hand,
