Abstract

A bow sight having a support structure, and two or more vertically aligned vertical pins connected to the support structure is provided. At least two of the vertical pins include a sight point. In accordance with another aspect of the invention, a bow sight having a support structure connected to two or more sight points is provided. The two or more sight points are rotationally adjustable such that they can be rotated into vertical alignment. In accordance with another aspect of the invention, a bow sight having a support structure, a sight point connected to the support structure, and a dampener is provided.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 20 . (canceled)

21 . A bow sight having a front and a back side, the bow sight comprising:
a generally circular shaped piece defining a viewing opening through which a target can be viewed; a first pin that supports an end of a light gathering cable adjacent to a first sight point to hold the first sight point in place, said first sight point being visible when an archer peers through the viewing opening from the front side of the bow sight, wherein said light gathering cable includes a wrapped portion extending at least half-way around the generally circular shaped piece; and a second pin that supports an end of a light gathering cable adjacent to a second sight point to hold the second sight point in place, said second sight point being visible when an archer peers through the viewing opening from the front side of the bow sight, wherein said light gathering cable includes a wrapped portion extending at least half-way around the generally circular shaped piece.

22 . The bow sight of claim 40 , wherein said first and second pins are vertically adjustable relative to one another.

23 . The bow sight of claim 40 , wherein said first sight point and said second sight point are aligned in a vertical plane.

24 . The bow sight of claim 40 comprising a plurality of light gathering cables each including a wrapped portion extending at least half-way around the generally circular shaped piece, wherein the wrapped portions of said plurality of light gathering cables are spaced apart in a parallel arrangement.

25 . The bow sight of claim 40 , further comprising:
a third pin that supports an end of a light gathering cable adjacent to a third sight point to hold the third sight point in place, said third sight point being visible when an archer peers through the viewing opening from the front side of the bow sight, wherein said light gathering cable includes a wrapped portion extending at least half-way around the generally circular shaped piece.

26 . The bow sight of claim 44 , further comprising:
a fourth pin that supports an end of a light gathering cable adjacent to a fourth sight point to hold the fourth sight point in place, said fourth sight point being visible when an archer peers through the viewing opening from the front side of the bow sight, wherein said light gathering cable includes a wrapped portion extending at least half-way around the generally circular shaped piece; and a fifth pin that supports an end of a light gathering cable adjacent to a fifth sight point to hold the fifth sight point in place, said fifth sight point being visible when an archer peers through the viewing opening from the front side of the bow sight, wherein said light gathering cable includes a wrapped portion extending at least half-way around the generally circular shaped piece.

27 . The bow sight of claim 40 , further comprising:
an arm operably connected to the generally circular shaped piece, the arm configured for mounting to a bow, wherein the generally circular shaped piece is vertically and horizontally adjustable relative to the arm.

28 . A bow sight having a front and a back side, the bow sight comprising:
a generally circular shaped piece defining a viewing opening through which a target can be viewed; a light gathering cable having an end defining a sight point that is visible when an archer peers through the viewing opening from the front side of the bow sight, the light gathering cable including a wrapped portion extending at least half-way around the generally circular shaped piece; and a pin that supports the light gathering cable adjacent to the sight point to hold the sight point in place, wherein the pin defines a hole for receiving the end of the light gathering cable defining the sight point.

29 . The bow sight of claim 47 , wherein the pin is vertically adjustable.

30 . The bow sight of claim 47 , further comprising a means for locking the pin in position.
