Methods and systems for storage and filing of electronic devices and related accessories

Abstract

Methods and systems for storage and filing for electronic devices and related accessories are provided wherein a receptacle member has a rectangular configuration and includes a plurality of ridge members. A plurality of storage members are provided which have connecting members that engage and disengage to the ridge members. The storage members include a front and back wall, whereby the front wall has an expandable portion which includes a securing member that is configured for slideable engagement to seal and unseal the expandable portion. The storage members are capable of receiving and maintaining electronic devices and related accessories in the expandable portion of the storage members in a suspended manner.

1 . A storage and filing system for electronic devices and related accessories, comprising:
 a receptacle member having a rectangular configuration, including a plurality of ridge members whereby a plurality of storage members including connecting members attach thereto, the storage members further including a front and back wall, the front wall having an expandable portion including a securing member that is configured for slideable engagement to seal and unseal the expandable portion;   at least one of the storage members capable of receiving and maintaining the electronic devices and related accessories in the expandable portion in a suspended manner; and   the ridge members engage and disengage the connection members of the storage member.   
   
   
       2 . The storage and filing system of  claim 1 , wherein the storage members are further comprised of anti-static materials. 
   
   
       3 . The storage and filing system of  claim 1 , wherein the front and back wall of the storage members comprise multiple widths and lengths. 
   
   
       4 . The storage and filing system of  claim 1 , wherein the front wall includes a void for receiving a label or other indicia. 
   
   
       5 . The storage and filing system of  claim 4 , wherein the label includes an erasable surface. 
   
   
       6 . The storage and filing system of  claim 1 , wherein the electronic devices and related accessories include a compact disc. 
   
   
       7 . The storage and filing system of  claim 1 , wherein the electronic devices and related accessories include a universal serial bus cable. 
   
   
       8 . The storage and filing system of  claim 1 , wherein the electronic devices and related accessories include a proof of purchase label. 
   
   
       9 . The storage and filing system of  claim 1 , wherein the electronic devices and related accessories include an electronic device charger. 
   
   
       10 . The storage and filing system of  claim 1 , wherein the improvement comprises the at least one storage members conforming to accommodate the geometric shape of at least one of the electronic devices and related accessories within the anti-static storage members, including the compact disc, the universal serial bus cable, the proof of purchase label, and the electronic device charger. 
   
   
       11 . A method for storing and filing electronic devices and related accessories, comprising the steps of:
 affixing at least two storage members to ridge members of a receptacle member, the receptacle member having a rectangular configuration, including a plurality of ridge members whereby the at least two storage members include connecting members attach thereto, the at least two storage members further including a front and back wall, the front wall having an expandable portion including a securing member that is configured for slideable engagement to seal and unseal the expandable portion, the ridge members engage and disengage the connection members of the at least two storage members;   enlarging an expandable portion of the front wall of the at least two storage members, the at least two storage members capable of receiving and maintaining the electronic devices and related accessories in the expandable portion in a suspended manner;   placing the electronic devices and related accessories within the expandable portion of the front wall of the at least two storage members;   collapsing the expandable portion of the front wall of the at least two storage members to seal and maintain the electronic devices in a suspended manner; and   defining the electronic devices and related accessories by writing on a label or indicia on the front wall of the at least two storage members.   
   
   
       12 . The method of  claim 11 , further comprising affixing a plurality of the storage members to the ridge members of the receptacle member. 
   
   
       13 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein the at least one storage members is removable from the ridge members of the receptacle member. 
   
   
       14 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein defining comprises erasing the writing on the label upon removing the electronic devices and related accessories from the at least one storage members. 
   
   
       15 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein the improvement comprises the at least two storage members conforming to accommodate the geometric shape of one of the electronic devices and related accessories within the anti-static storage members, including the compact disc, the universal serial bus cable, the proof of purchase label, and the electronic device charger.
