Abstract
A blown bottle constructed from synthetic resinous material is configured to facilitate the complete evacuation of viscous food product from the bottle using a conventional butter knife.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A bottle comprising:
an uppermost, annular seal surface; an annular neck finish below the seal surface; a lowermost base surface spaced below the neck finish; and an annular sidewall extending between the neck finish and the bottom surface, said sidewall including a radially outwardly disposed shoulder portion below the neck finish, a radially inwardly disposed pinch portion below the shoulder portion, and a body portion below the pinch portion, said sidewall having a maximum shoulder diameter in said shoulder portion, a minimum pinch diameter in said pinch portion, and a major diameter in said body portion, said maximum shoulder diameter being greater than said minimum pinch diameter and less than or equal to said major diameter, the axial distance B between the shoulder portion at its maximum diameter and the pinch portion at its minimum diameter being determined by the equation:
B≧2.5 A
where A is determined by the equation:
A
=
