Abstract

The present invention relates to a homogenisation device of a material flow at the inlet of a plate exchanger ( 3 ), comprising a grille ( 1 ) suitable to be placed in the admission chamber ( 2 ) of said plate exchanger ( 3 ), preferably against the bundle ( 4 ) of plates of said exchanger, said grille comprising perforations ( 5 ), preferably circular, distributed uniformly over its entire surface and allowing uniform distribution of a material flow on the inlet surface (Se) of the bundle ( 4 ) of the exchanger.

A homogenisation device ( 1 ) of a material flow at the inlet of a plate exchanger ( 3 ), said device being adapted to be placed in the admission chamber ( 2 ) of said plate exchanger ( 3 ), substantially against the bundle ( 4 ) of plates of said exchanger over the entire surface of said bundle, and comprising a plate ( 6 ) pierced with orifices ( 5 ), preferably circular, distributed uniformly over the entire surface of said plate ( 6 ) and allowing uniform distribution of a material flow over the entire inlet surface (S e ) of the bundle ( 4 ) of the exchanger. 
   
   
       2 . The device as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the total area of the orifices ( 5 ) of the plate ( 6 ) represents between 35% and 45% of the total surface of the grille, and, preferably, substantially 40%. 
   
   
       3 . The device as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the diameter of the orifices ( 5 ) of the plate ( 6 ) is between 20 and 30 mm, preferably substantially equal to 25 mm. 
   
   
       4 . The device as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the orifices ( 5 ) are arranged according to a triangular pitch on the surface of the plate ( 6 ). 
   
   
       5 . The device as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said perforated plate ( 6 ) is constituted by metal and formed from material or fixed on a reinforcing frame ( 7 ). 
   
   
       6 . The device as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the perforated plate ( 6 ) is reinforced on a face ( 6   b ), said dorsal face, by stiffeners ( 9 ) positioned symmetrically relative to at least one median transversal plane (Pm) of the device. 
   
   
       7 . The device as claimed in  claim 5 , wherein the reinforcing frame ( 7 ) and the stiffeners ( 9 ) are formed from the same moulded or forged metallic piece. 
   
   
       8 . The device as claimed in  claim 5 , wherein the perforated plate, the reinforcing frame and the stiffeners are made of steel. 
   
   
       9 . The device as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the diameter of the orifices ( 5 ) of the plate ( 6 ) is between 20 and 30 mm, preferably substantially equal to 25 mm. 
   
   
       10 . The device as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the orifices ( 5 ) are arranged according to a triangular pitch on the surface of the plate ( 6 ).

       14 . The device as claimed in  claim 4 , wherein said perforated plate ( 6 ) is constituted by metal and formed from material or fixed on a reinforcing frame ( 7 ). 
   
   
       15 . The device as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the perforated plate ( 6 ) is reinforced on a face ( 6   b ), said dorsal face, by stiffeners ( 9 ) positioned symmetrically relative to at least one median transversal plane (Pm) of the device.
