2 . A composition for administration to a pregnant or lactating woman, the composition comprising:
a. a first fatty acid; and b. DHA present in a quantity such that the total amount of said first fatty acid and said DHA is from about 10 mg to about 1000 mg.
3 . A method for administering essential fatty acids, which comprises:
a. administering a first fatty acid; and b. administering DHA present in a quantity such that the total amount of said first fatty acid and said DHA is from about 10 mg to about 1000 mg.
