Claims
Abstract
A shower-head holder adapter, preferably for a shower head riser or other bar element, comprises a shower-head holder engagement element and a shower-accessory support element for supporting a showering accessory other than or in addition to a shower head. The engagement element is shaped to be receivable in a shower-head holder and the support element includes at least one platform element. The said at least one platform element has a platform portion which in use is above the engagement element.

A shower-head holder adapter comprising a shower-head holder engagement element and a shower-accessory support element for supporting a showering accessory other than or in addition to a shower head, the engagement element being shaped to be receivable in a shower-head holder and the support element including at least one platform element, the said at least one platform element having a platform portion which in use is above the engagement element.
2 . A shower-head holder adapter as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the engagement element includes a tapered portion for a wedge-fit with the shower-head holder.
3 . A shower-head holder adapter as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the engagement element includes a key which is locatable in a slot of the shower-head holder.
4 . A shower-head holder adapter as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the engagement element includes a cantilever arm, a distal free end of the cantilever arm being engagable with the shower-head holder.
5 . A shower-head holder adapter as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the support element and the engagement element are coaxial.
6 . A shower-head holder adapter as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the said at least one platform element is removable from a boss of the support element.
7 . A shower-head holder adapter as claimed in claim 1 , wherein at least part of the platform element is slidably receivable in or on a boss of the support element.
8 . A shower-head holder adapter as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the platform element includes a shower-head opening adapted to hold a shower head.
9 . A shower-head holder adapter as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a further platform element is provided.
10 . A shower-head holder adapter as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the in use platform portions of both platform elements are above the engagement element.
11 . A shower-head holder adapter as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the two platform elements are slidably engagable with a boss of the support element.
12 . A shower-head holder adapter as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the platform portion of one platform element extends outwardly beyond a perimeter edge of the platform portion of the other platform element.
13 . A shower-head holder adapter as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the platform elements are separately rotatable on a boss of the support element.
14 . A shower-head holder adapter as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the platform elements are independently engagable with a boss of the support element.
15 . A shower-head holder adapter as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising at least one hook for holding a further showering accessory.
16 . A shower-head holder adapter as claimed in claim 15 , wherein the said at least one hook projects from the engagement element.
17 . A shower-head holder which is suitable for holding a shower head, in combination with a shower-head holder adapter as claimed in claim 1 .
18 . A combination as claimed in claim 17 , wherein the engagement element of the adapter is shaped to complementarily fit a ferrule holder element of the holder.
19 . A combination as claimed in claim 17 , wherein the shower-head holder is provided on a hand rail.
