Abstract

A process is provided. The process provides, with a ticket printer, a plurality of lottery tickets such that each lottery ticket indicates a first lottery game and a second lottery game. The process also provides a first lottery game match prize category in the first lottery game such that a player having a lottery ticket with a match in the first lottery game wins a first lottery game prize. Further, the process provides a second lottery game match prize category in the second lottery game such that a player having a lottery ticket with a match in the second lottery game wins a prize. In addition, the process provides a first multiplier category and a second multiplier category in the second lottery game, without being utilized in the first lottery game.

1 . A method comprising:
 providing, with a ticket printer, a plurality of lottery tickets such that each lottery ticket indicates a first lottery game and a second lottery game;   indicating a first price category in which a lottery ticket for the first lottery game can be purchased;   indicating a second price category in which a lottery ticket for the second lottery game can be purchased, the second price category being greater than the first price category;   providing a first lottery game match prize category in the first lottery game such that a player having a lottery ticket with a match in the first lottery game wins a first lottery game prize;   providing a full match prize category in the second lottery game such that a player having a lottery ticket with a full match in the second lottery game wins a full match prize associated with the full match prize category, the full match being a full match between a set of player numbers and a set of second lottery game drawn numbers;   providing a partial match prize category in the second lottery game such that a player having a lottery ticket with a partial match in the second lottery game wins a partial match prize associated with the partial match prize category, the partial match being a partial match between the set of player numbers and the set of second lottery game drawn numbers;   providing a first multiplier category and a second multiplier category in the second lottery game, without being utilized in the first lottery game, such that: (i) the first multiplier category is associated with a first multiplier that multiplies the full match prize and the partial match prize of the second lottery game, (ii) the second multiplier category is associated with a second multiplier that multiplies the full match prize and the partial match prize of the second lottery game, and (iii) the second multiplier is greater than the first multiplier;   performing, with a random selection device, a drawing of a set of first lottery game drawn numbers;   performing, with the random selection device, a drawing of the set of second lottery game drawn numbers;   performing, with the random selection device, a drawing of a multiplier for the second lottery game, the multiplier being drawn from a set of multiplier indicators that includes a predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators corresponding to the first multiplier and a predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators corresponding to the second multiplier, the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators being greater than the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators, the set of multiplier indicators being distinct from a set of winning lottery numbers;   providing the first lottery game prize based on a match between a set of player numbers in the first lottery game and the set of first lottery game drawn numbers;   providing the full match prize multiplied by the first multiplier to a player having a lottery ticket with a full match in the second lottery game if the first multiplier is drawn;   providing the full match prize multiplied by the second multiplier to a player having a lottery ticket with a full match in the second lottery game if the second multiplier is drawn;   providing the partial match prize multiplied by the first multiplier to a player having a lottery ticket with a partial match in the second lottery game if the first multiplier is drawn; and   providing the partial match prize multiplied by the second multiplier to a player having a lottery ticket with a partial match in the second lottery game if the second multiplier is drawn.   
   
   
       2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein each of the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators is associated with a first color and each of the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators is associated with a second color, the first color being distinct from the second color.

The method of  claim 1 , wherein each of the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators is associated with a first non-numeric based indicia and each of the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators is associated with a second non-numeric based indicia, the first non-numeric based indicia being distinct from the second non-numeric based indicia. 
   
   
       4 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein each of the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators is associated with a first advertising indicia and each of the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators is associated with a second advertising indicia, the first advertising indicia being distinct from the second advertising indicia. 
   
   
       5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the full match prize is a pari-mutuel based prize. 
   
   
       6 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the partial match prize is a pari-mutuel based prize. 
   
   
       7 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the full match prize is a fixed prize. 
   
   
       8 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the partial match prize is a fixed prize. 
   
   
       9 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the full match prize is guaranteed by a third party entity. 
   
   
       10 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the partial match prize is guaranteed by a third party entity. 
   
   
       11 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the first multiplier is guaranteed by a third party entity.

       13 . A method comprising:
 providing, with a ticket printer, a plurality of lottery tickets such that each lottery ticket indicates a first lottery game and a second lottery game;   indicating a first price category in which a lottery ticket for the first lottery game can be purchased;   indicating a second price category in which a lottery ticket for the second lottery game can be purchased, the second price category being greater than the first price category;   providing a first lottery game match prize category in the first lottery game such that a player having a lottery ticket with a match in the first lottery game wins a first lottery game prize;   providing a second lottery game match prize category in the second lottery game such that a player having a lottery ticket with a match in the second lottery game wins a prize;   providing a first multiplier category and a second multiplier category in the second lottery game, without being utilized in the first lottery game, such that: (i) the first multiplier category is associated with a first multiplier that multiplies the prize of the second lottery game, (ii) the second multiplier category is associated with a second multiplier that multiplies the prize of the second lottery game, and (iii) the second multiplier is greater than the first multiplier;   performing, with a random selection device, a drawing of a set of first lottery game drawn numbers;   performing, with the random selection device, a drawing of a set of second lottery game drawn numbers;   performing, with the random selection device, a drawing of a multiplier for the second lottery game, the multiplier being drawn from a set of multiplier indicators that includes a predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators corresponding to the first multiplier and a predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators corresponding to the second multiplier, the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators being greater than the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators, the set of multiplier indicators being distinct from a set of winning lottery numbers;   providing the first lottery game prize based on a match between a set of player numbers in the first lottery game and the set of first lottery game drawn numbers;   providing the second lottery game prize multiplied by the first multiplier to a player having a winning lottery ticket in the second lottery game if the first multiplier is drawn; and   providing the second lottery game prize multiplied by the second multiplier to a player having a winning lottery ticket in the second lottery game if the second multiplier is drawn.

The method of  claim 13 , wherein each of the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators is associated with a first color and each of the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators is associated with a second color, the first color being distinct from the second color.

The method of  claim 13 , wherein each of the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators is associated with a first non-numeric based indicia and each of the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators is associated with a second non-numeric based indicia, the first non-numeric based indicia being distinct from the second non-numeric based indicia.

The method of  claim 13 , wherein each of the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators is associated with a first numeric based indicia and each of the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators is associated with a second numeric based indicia, the first non-numeric based indicia being distinct from the second non-numeric based indicia. 
   
   
       17 . The method of  claim 16 , wherein the set of multiplier indicators is distinct from the set of winning lottery numbers.

The method of  claim 13 , wherein each of the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators is associated with a first advertising indicia and each of the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators is associated with a second advertising indicia, the first advertising indicia being distinct from the second advertising indicia.

 a payment module that receives a lottery wager that a player selects from a first price category and a second price category, the first price category providing participation in a first lottery game, the second price category providing participation in the first lottery game and a second lottery game, the first lottery game providing a first lottery game match prize category in the first lottery game such that a player having a lottery ticket with a match in the first lottery game wins a first lottery game prize, the second lottery game providing (i) a prize category in the second lottery game such that a player having a lottery ticket with a match in the second lottery game wins a prize in the second lottery game and (ii) a first multiplier category and a second multiplier category in the second lottery game, without being utilized in the first lottery game, such that the first multiplier category is associated with a first multiplier that multiplies the prize of the second lottery game, the second multiplier category is associated with a second multiplier that multiplies the prize of the second lottery game, and the second multiplier is greater than the first multiplier, the match being a match between a set of player numbers and a set of second lottery game drawn numbers, the second price category being greater than the first price category;   a random selection device that performs a drawing of a set of first lottery game drawn numbers, a drawing of the set of second lottery game drawn numbers, and a drawing of a multiplier for the second lottery game, the multiplier being drawn from a set of multiplier indicators that includes a predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators corresponding to the first multiplier and a predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators corresponding to the second multiplier, the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators being greater than the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators, the set of multiplier indicators being distinct from a set of winning lottery numbers;   a ticket printer that prints a single lottery ticket that indicates the first lottery game and the second lottery game; and   a prize distribution module that provides a prize to player with a winning lottery number based on a type of match and lottery game.

The lottery ticket dispensing apparatus of  claim 25 , wherein each of the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators is associated with a first color and each of the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators is associated with a second color, the first color being distinct from the second color.

The lottery ticket dispensing apparatus of  claim 25 , wherein each of the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators is associated with a first numeric based indicia and each of the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators is associated with a second numeric based indicia, the first non-numeric based indicia being distinct from the second non-numeric based indicia. 
   
   
       29 . The lottery ticket dispensing apparatus of  claim 28 , wherein the set of multiplier indicators is distinct from the set of winning lottery numbers.

 a display module that indicates a first price category and a second price category, the second price category being greater than the first price category;   a payment module that receives a lottery wager that a player selects from a first price category and a second price category, the first price category providing participation in a first lottery game, the second price category providing participation in the first lottery game and a second lottery game, the first lottery game providing a first lottery game match prize category in the first lottery game such that a player having a lottery ticket with a match in the first lottery game wins a first lottery game prize, the second lottery game providing (i) a prize category in the second lottery game such that a player having a lottery ticket with a match in the second lottery game wins a prize in the second lottery game and (ii) a first multiplier category and a second multiplier category in the second lottery game, without being utilized in the first lottery game, such that the first multiplier category is associated with a first multiplier that multiplies the prize of the second lottery game, the second multiplier category is associated with a second multiplier that multiplies the prize of the second lottery game, and the second multiplier is greater than the first multiplier, the match being a match between a set of player numbers and a set of second lottery game drawn numbers;   a random selection device that performs a drawing of a set of first lottery game drawn numbers, a drawing of the set of second lottery game drawn numbers, and a drawing of a multiplier for the second lottery game, the multiplier being drawn from a set of multiplier indicators that includes a predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators corresponding to the first multiplier and a predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators corresponding to the second multiplier, the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators being greater than the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators, the set of multiplier indicators being distinct from a set of winning lottery numbers;   a ticket printer that prints a single lottery ticket that indicates the first lottery game and the second lottery game;   a prize distribution module that provides a prize to player with a winning lottery number based on a type of match and lottery game; and   a processor that compares the set of player numbers to the set of drawn numbers to determine a type of prize won by a player.

The electronic lottery game apparatus of  claim 36 , wherein each of the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators is associated with a first color and each of the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators is associated with a second color, the first color being distinct from the second color.

 providing a raffle game;   providing a prize category in the raffle game such that a player having a winning raffle ticket wins a prize associated with the prize category;   providing a first multiplier category and a second multiplier category such that: (i) the first multiplier category is associated with a first multiplier that multiplies the prize, (ii) the second multiplier category is associated with a second multiplier that multiplies the prize, and (iii) the second multiplier is greater than the first multiplier;   printing, with a ticket printer, a set of raffle tickets such that each raffle ticket has a unique raffle number printed thereon;   distributing a subset of the set of raffle tickets to a plurality of raffle players;   performing a selection of a winning raffle number, with a random selection apparatus, from unique raffle numbers printed on each of the tickets in the subset of the set of raffle tickets;   performing a selection, with the random selection apparatus, of a multiplier, the multiplier being selected from a set of multiplier indicators that includes a predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators corresponding to the first multiplier and a predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators corresponding to the second multiplier, the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators being greater than the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators;   providing the prize multiplied by the first multiplier to a player having a winning raffle ticket if the first multiplier is drawn; and   providing the prize multiplied by the second multiplier to a player having a winning raffle ticket if the second multiplier is drawn.   
   
   
       48 . The method of  claim 47 , wherein the subset of the set of raffle tickets is less than an entirety of the set of raffle tickets.

 a payment module that receives a single raffle wager that provides participation in a raffle game, the raffle game providing a prize category such that a player having a winning raffle ticket wins a prize associated with the prize category and providing a first multiplier category and a second multiplier category such that: (i) the first multiplier category is associated with a first multiplier that multiplies the prize, (ii) the second multiplier category is associated with a second multiplier that multiplies the prize, and (iii) the second multiplier is greater than the first multiplier;   a ticket printer that prints a set of raffle tickets such that each raffle ticket has a unique raffle number printed thereon;   a random selection device that randomly selects a winning raffle number from unique raffle numbers printed on each of the tickets in a subset of the set of raffle tickets distributed to a plurality of raffle players and a multiplier, the multiplier being selected from a set of multiplier indicators that includes a predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators corresponding to the first multiplier and a predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators corresponding to the second multiplier, the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators being greater than the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators; and   a prize distribution module that provides the prize multiplied by the first multiplier to a player having a winning raffle ticket if the first multiplier is drawn and the prize multiplied by the second multiplier to a player having a winning raffle ticket if the second multiplier is drawn.   
   
   
       51 . The raffle ticket dispensing apparatus of  claim 50 , further comprising a processor that performs a comparison between the winning raffle number and the unique raffle number on a raffle ticket. 
   
   
       52 . An electronic raffle game apparatus comprising:
 a display module that indicates a unique raffle number and a prize category such that a player having a winning raffle ticket wins a prize associated with the prize category and indicates a first multiplier category and a second multiplier category such that: (i) the first multiplier category is associated with a first multiplier that multiplies the prize, (ii) the second multiplier category is associated with a second multiplier that multiplies the prize, and (iii) the second multiplier is greater than the first multiplier;   a random selection device that randomly selects a winning unique raffle number, the multiplier being selected from a set of multiplier indicators that includes a predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators corresponding to the first multiplier and a predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators corresponding to the second multiplier, the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators being greater than the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators; and   a prize distribution module that provides the prize multiplied by the first multiplier to a player having a winning raffle ticket if the first multiplier is drawn and the prize multiplied by the second multiplier to a player having a winning raffle ticket if the second multiplier is drawn.   
   
   
       53 . The electronic raffle game apparatus of  claim 52 , further comprising a processor that performs a comparison between the winning raffle number and the unique raffle number. 
   
   
       54 . A method comprising:
 providing, with a ticket printer, a plurality of tickets such that each ticket indicates a first game and a second game, the second game being a raffle game;   indicating a first price category in which a ticket for the first game can be purchased;   indicating a second price category in which a ticket for the second game can be purchased, the second price category being greater than the first price category;   providing a first game prize indication in the first game such that a player having a ticket with a match in the first game wins a first game prize;   providing a second game prize indication in the second game such that a player having a ticket with a match in the second game wins a second game prize;   providing a first multiplier category and a second multiplier category in the second game, without being utilized in the first game, such that: (i) the first multiplier category is associated with a first multiplier that multiplies the second game prize, (ii) the second multiplier category is associated with a second multiplier that multiplies the second game prize, and (iii) the second multiplier is greater than the first multiplier;   performing, with a random selection device, a drawing of at least one first game drawn number;   performing, with the random selection device, a selection of a winning raffle number for the second game;   performing, with the random selection device, a drawing of a multiplier for the second game, the multiplier being drawn from a set of multiplier indicators that includes a predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators corresponding to the first multiplier and a predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators corresponding to the second multiplier, the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators being greater than the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators;   providing the first game prize based on a match between at least one player number in the first game and the at least one first game drawn number;   providing the second game prize multiplied by the first multiplier to a player having a winning raffle ticket if the first multiplier is drawn; and   providing the second game prize multiplied by the second multiplier to a player having a winning raffle ticket if the second multiplier is drawn.   
   
   
       55 . The method of  claim 54 , wherein the first game is a lottery game.

       57 . A ticket dispensing apparatus comprising:
 a payment module that receives a wager that a player selects from a first price category and a second price category, the first price category providing participation in a first game, the second price category providing participation in the first game and a second game, the first game providing a first game match prize category in the first game such that a player having a ticket with a match in the first game wins a first game prize, the second game providing (i) a prize category in the second game such that a player having a ticket with a match in the second game wins a prize in the second game and (ii) a first multiplier category and a second multiplier category in the second game, without being utilized in the first game, such that the first multiplier category is associated with a first multiplier that multiplies the prize of the second game, the second multiplier category is associated with a second multiplier that multiplies the prize of the second game, and the second multiplier is greater than the first multiplier, the match being a match between at least one player number and a set of second game drawn numbers, the second price category being greater than the first price category, the second game being a raffle game;   a random selection device that performs a drawing of at least one first game drawn number, a drawing of a second game number, and a drawing of a multiplier for the second game, the multiplier being drawn from a set of multiplier indicators that includes a predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators corresponding to the first multiplier and a predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators corresponding to the second multiplier, the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators being greater than the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators, the set of multiplier indicators being distinct from a set of winning numbers;   a ticket printer that prints a single ticket that indicates the first game and the second game; and   a prize distribution module that provides a prize to player with a winning number based on a type of match and a type of game.   
   
   
       58 . The ticket dispensing apparatus of  claim 57 , wherein the first game is a lottery game. 
   
   
       59 . The ticket dispensing apparatus of  claim 57 , wherein the first game is a raffle game. 
   
   
       60 . An electronic game apparatus comprising:
 a price display module that indicates a first price category and a second price category, the second price category being greater than the first price category;   a payment module that receives a wager that a player selects from a first price category and a second price category, the first price category providing participation in a first game, the second price category providing participation in the first game and a second game, the first game providing a first game match prize category in the first game such that a player having a ticket with a match in the first game wins a first game prize, the second game providing (i) a prize category in the second game such that a player having a ticket with a match in the second game wins a prize in the second game and (ii) a first multiplier category and a second multiplier category in the second game, without being utilized in the first game, such that the first multiplier category is associated with a first multiplier that multiplies the prize of the second game, the second multiplier category being associated with a second multiplier that multiplies the prize of the second game, and the second multiplier is greater than the first multiplier, the match being a match between at least one player number and at least one second game drawn number;   a random selection device that performs a drawing of at least one first game drawn number, a drawing of the at least one second game drawn number, and a drawing of a multiplier for the second game, the multiplier being drawn from a set of multiplier indicators that includes a predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators corresponding to the first multiplier and a predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators corresponding to the second multiplier, the predetermined quantity of second multiplier indicators being greater than the predetermined quantity of first multiplier indicators;   a ticket display module that provides a single display of the first game and the second game; and   a prize distribution module that provides a prize to player with a winning number based on a type of match and a type of game.   
   
   
       61 . The electronic game apparatus of  claim 60 , wherein the first game is a lottery game.
