Abstract
In a filter element ( 10 ) having a filter bellows ( 11 ) which is covered at each end by an end disk ( 13, 14 ), the end disks ( 13, 14 ) are each provided with at least one coupling element for coupling to a filter housing ( 20 ) and connected to one another via at least one central tube ( 12 ) spanning the filter bellows ( 11 ). Alternatively, a central tube which runs right through and onto which end disks and filter bellows are pushed and which is configured at its ends for coupling with parts of the housing is present.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . Filter element comprising a filter bellows ( 11 , 11 ′) that is covered at its ends by a terminal disk ( 13 , 13 ′, 14 , 14 ′), respectively,
characterized in that the terminal disks ( 13 , 13 ′, 14 , 14 ′) each are provided with at least one coupling projection ( 15 , 15 ′, 18 , 18 ′) for coupling with a filter housing ( 20 , 20 ′) and are connected to one another by means of at least one stabilizing element ( 12 , 12 ′) spanning the filter bellows ( 11 , 11 ′).
2 . Filter element according to claim 1 , characterized in that the stabilizing element is a central tube ( 12 , 12 ′) that extends through a central recess in the filter bellows ( 11 , 11 ′).
3 . Filter element according to claim 1 , characterized in that the stabilizing element is an outer tube or an enveloping cage that at least partially surrounds the filter bellows.
4 . Filter element comprising a filter bellows ( 11 , 11 ′) that is covered at its ends by terminal disk ( 13 , 13 ′, 14 , 14 ′), respectively,
characterized in that the filter bellows ( 11 , 11 ′) surrounds a central tube ( 12 , 12 ′) whose length is greater than the length of the filter bellows ( 11 , 11 ′) and the attached terminal disks ( 13 , 13 ′, 14 , 14 ′) and in that the length portions projecting past the terminal disks ( 13 , 13 ′, 14 , 14 ′) each are configured as a coupling projection ( 15 , 15 ′, 17 , 17 ′) with at least one coupling element ( 16 , 16 ′, 18 , 18 ′) for coupling to a filter housing ( 20 , 20 ′).
5 . Filter element according to one of the claims 1 to 3 , characterized in that on at least one coupling projection ( 15 , 15 ′) the coupling element is formed by a conical thread ( 16 , 16 ′).
6 . Filter element according to claim 4 , characterized in that the conical thread ( 16 , 16 ′) is a buttress thread.
7 . Filter element according to claim 4 or 5 , characterized in that the outer wall of the thread projection ( 15 , 15 ′) has a cone angle of 3 degrees to 12 degrees.
8 . Filter element according to one of the claims 1 to 6 , characterized in that the coupling element is part of a bayonet connection.
9 . Filter element according to one of the claims 1 to 7 , characterized in that the coupling element is a loop part or a hook part of a hook-and-loop closure.
10 . Filter element according to one of the claims 1 to 8 , characterized in that the coupling element is part of a snap connection.
11 . Filter element according to one of the claims 1 to 9 , characterized in that the coupling projection ( 17 , 17 ′) has at least one radially open engagement cutout ( 18 , 18 ′) which is provided for engagement with at least one radially movable locking element ( 25 , 25 ′).
12 . Filter element according to claim 11 , characterized in that the engagement cutout is formed by a groove ( 18 , 18 ′) circumferentially extending about the coupling projection which groove is provided for engagement by at least one locking element ( 25 , 25 ′) provided on the housing ( 20 , 20 ′).
13 . Filter element according to claim 11 , characterized in that the engagement cutout is formed by at least one radially extending slot-shaped cutout.
14 . Filter element according to one of claims 1 to 11 , characterized in that the coupling element is formed by a radially movable looking element for engagement of an engagement cutout of a housing.
15 . Air filter unit comprising a radially divided housing and a cylindrical filter element ( 10 , 10 ′) insertable therein according to one of the preceding claims, comprising a filter bellows ( 11 , 11 ′) that is connected at its end to a terminal disk ( 13 , 13 ′, 14 , 14 ′), respectively, characterized in that the housing has at least two housing parts ( 20 , 20 ′, 30 , 30 ′, 40 , 40 ′) that are to be connected to one another in the axial direction by means of a tie rod element ( 12 , 12 ′), wherein the tie rod element ( 12 , 12 ′) is embodied by the filter element and/or is integrated into the filter element ( 10 , 10 ′).Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
