Abstract

A reusable container for storing and dispensing wipes that includes two or more shells configured to act cooperatively to define an interior storage space. The wipes container provides a warm-feeling, cloth-like surface. At least a portion of one of the shells includes a synthetic polymeric foam material having an Effusivity value at 25° C. and 32° C. of less than about 550.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A reusable container for storing and dispensing wipes, the wipes container comprising:
 a. two or more shells configured to act cooperatively to define an interior storage space for storing one or more wipes, the two or more shells being at least partially separable from one another to enable a user to replenish a depleted wipes supply in the container; b. an opening in at least one of the shells that enables a user to access at least one wipe stored in the interior storage space; and c. a synthetic polymeric foam material disposed on at least a portion of one of the shells, wherein the synthetic polymeric foam has an Effusivity value at 23° C. and 32° C. of from about less than about 550, according to the Sensory Warmth Test.

2 . The wipes container of claim 1 , wherein the synthetic polymeric foam material has a Thermal Conductivity value at 23° C. and 32° C. of from about 0.04 to about 0.190 W/mK according to the Sensory Warmth Test.

3 . The wipes container of claim 1 , wherein the synthetic polymer foam material has a density of from about 30 to about 150 kg/m 3 .

4 . The wipes container of claim 1 , wherein the synthetic polymeric foam material has a Shore A hardness of from about 38 to about 90.

5 . The wipes container of claim 1 , wherein the synthetic polymeric foam material comprises poly(ethylene vinyl acetate).

6 . The wipes container of claim 1 , further comprising a first container shell hingedly joined to a second container shell such that the first and second shells can be configured in an open position and a closed position, wherein the interior storage space is defined by the first and second shells when the shells are in the closed position.

7 . The wipes container of claim 4 , wherein at least one of the first and second shells includes a fastener, the fastener configured to enable a user to join the first container shell to the second container shell when the shells are in a closed configuration

8 . The wipes container of claim 1 , further comprising a first container shell configured to be inserted into a second container shell to define such that when the first container shell is at least partially inserted into the second container shell there is a substantially enclosed interior storage space defined by the shells.

9 . The wipes container of claim 1 , wherein the container shell including the opening also includes a lid configured to cover the opening.

10 . The wipes container of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the container shell portions includes a substantially concave portion.

11 . The wipes container of claim 1 , wherein the container comprises two shells and both shells include a substantially concave portion such that when the shells are manipulated to be in the closed position, the concave portions are in a face to face configuration and define the interior storage space.

12 . The wipes container of claim 10 , wherein the container when in the open configuration is substantially planar with both concave portions facing the same direction.

13 . The wipes container of claim 1 , further comprising a fabric outer cover joined to at least one of the shells.

14 . The wipes container of claim 12 , wherein the fabric outer cover is removable and reusable.

15 . The wipes container of claim 1 , wherein the synthetic polymer foam material has a density of between about 250 and 800 kg/m 3 .

       16 . A kit comprising:
 a. a plurality of wet wipes; and b. a container for storing and dispensing the wet wipes, the wet wipes container comprising two or more shells configured to act cooperatively to define an interior storage space, at least a portion of one or more of the shells comprising a synthetic polymeric material, wherein the surface area of the synthetic polymeric material is greater than about 50% of the total surface area of the container shell comprising the synthetic polymeric material, the synthetic polymeric material having an Effusivity value at 23° C. and 32° C. of less than about 550 and a Thermal Conductivity value at 23° C. and 32° C. of from about 0.04 to about 0.190 W/mK according to the Sensory Warmth Test.

17 . The kit of claim 14 , wherein the synthetic polymeric material has a density of from about 30 to about 150 kg/m 3 .

18 . The kit of claim 14 , wherein the wet wipes are disposed in the internal storage space.

19 . The kit of claim 14 , further comprising a fabric outer cover, said fabric outer cover being removable and reusable.

20 . The kit of claim 14 , wherein said wet wipes container comprises an opening for enabling a user to access at least one wet wipe stored in the interior storage space.
