Abstract

A method for manufacturing feedstuff including the steps of: preparing wood chips containing large quantities of saw-dusts and/or wood fibers; preparing large quantities of fermentation bacteria, and mixing the wood chips with the large quantities of fermentation bacteria to obtain feedstuff for livestock; the method further including the steps of: preparing ultrafine organic particle substances by ultrafinely shattering waste organic substances such as garbage by using high-speed water flows of 8 m/second or more wherein the ultrafine organic particle substances include those of micrometer sizes created by shearing action of the high-speed water flows, adding the fermentation bacteria to the ultrafine organic particle substances to ferment them and proliferate the fermentation bacteria in great quantities, preparing the fermented ultrafine organic particle substances containing the large quantities of fermentation bacteria, and using the fermented ultrafine organic particle substances as the fermentation bacteria to be mixed with the wood chips.

1 - 28 . (canceled)

       29 . A method for manufacturing feedstuff having the steps of: preparing wood chips containing large quantities of saw-dusts and/or wood fibers; preparing large quantities of fermentation bacteria; and mixing the wood chips with the large quantities of fermentation bacteria to obtain the feedstuff for livestock,
 said method further comprising the steps:
 preparing ultrafine organic particle substances by ultrafinely shattering waste organic substances such as garbage by using high-speed water flows of 8 m/second or more wherein the ultrafine organic particle substances include ultrafine ones of micrometer sizes at least by means of shearing action created between the high-speed water flows,
 adding the fermentation bacteria to the ultrafine organic particle substances to ferment them as well as to proliferate the fermentation bacteria in great quantities;
 preparing the fermented ultrafine organic particle substances containing the large quantities of fermentation bacteria; and
 using the fermented ultrafine organic particle substances as the fermentation bacteria to be mixed with the wood chips.

       30 . The method for manufacturing feedstuff according to claim 29 , wherein the step of preparing ultrafine organic particle substances is carried out in an apparatus comprising:
 a cylindrical casing having a top wall, a bottom wall and two or more substantially concentric cylindrical walls arranged between the top wall and the bottom wall so as to define annular passages between the adjacent cylindrical walls; a water injection device for injecting a pressurized water tangentially into the annular passage so as to generate high-speed water flows of 8 m/second or more in a circumferential direction therein; and a supply port formed in at least one of the top wall, the bottom wall and the cylindrical walls for supplying the slurry containing the organic granular substances.

       31 . The method for manufacturing feedstuff according to claim 29 , wherein the step of preparing ultrafine organic particle substances is carried out by steps of ultrafinely shattering the smashed organic granular substances and cluster of the water by impact forces of high-speed water flows of 8 m/second or more generated by a pump, shear forces produced by speed differentials between the high-speed water flows, and/or ultrasonic forces produced by breakage of air bubbles contained in the high-speed water flows an apparatus to obtain the ultrafine organic particle substances suspended in the water.

       32 . The method for manufacturing feedstuff according to claim 29 , wherein the step of preparing the fermented ultrafine organic particle substances is carried out as suspension of the ultrafine organic particle substances containing the large quantities of fermentation bacteria by adding the fermentation bacteria to the ultrafine organic particle substances suspended in the water to ferment them as well as to proliferate the fermentation bacteria in great quantities; and
 using the suspension of the fermented ultrafine organic particle substances as the fermentation bacteria to be mixed with the wood chips.

       33 . A livestock breeding system comprising a breeding place enclosed by a fence for breeding livestock; layers of wood chips spread over and stacked up on the surface of the earth in the breeding place; and a feedstuff for breeding the livestock,
 wherein said feedstuff is prepared by mixing wood fine chips containing saw-dusts and/or wood fibers with large quantities of fermentation bacteria and wherein the large quantities of fermentation bacteria is prepared by ultrafinely shattering waste organic substances such as garbage by using high-speed water flows of 8 m/second or more wherein the ultrafine organic particle substances include ultrafine ones of micrometer sizes at least by means of shearing action created between the high-speed water flows, and adding the fermentation bacteria to the ultrafine organic particle substances to ferment them as well as to proliferate the fermentation bacteria in great quantities.

       34 . The livestock breeding system according to claim 33 , wherein the layers of wood chips comprises the wood chips mixed with the large quantities of fermentation bacteria.

       35 . The livestock breeding system according to claim 33 , wherein the breeding place has a waterproof layer laid on the surface of the earth and an infiltration filter layer laid on the waterproof layer; the layers of wood chips comprises a layer of coarse wood chips and a layer of fine wood chips stacked on the filter layer; a catchment pit formed in the earth surface so as to collect a liquid through the filter layer and/or the wood chip layer; and a sprinkler device having a pump for sucking a liquid in the catchment pit and delivering it to a piping adapted to sprinkle it onto the uppermost wood chip layer from above.
