Abstract

The invention enables to arrange artificial molar teeth at appropriate positions according to the oral cavity environment of each patient without requiring advanced techniques or experiences. The invention relates to artificial molar teeth having maxillary molar teeth 1 to 4 and mandibular molar teeth 5 to 8 to be arranged so as to form a pair on denture bases 57, 58 to be mounted on upper and lower jaws in an oral cavity, in which one cusp out of the cusps of the maxillary molar teeth 1 to 4 and the mandibular molar teeth to 8 is engaged with a fossa of the antagonist, and at least one of the other cusps is engaged with a groove of the antagonist.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . Artificial molar teeth comprising maxillary molar teeth and mandibular molar teeth to be arranged so as to form a pair on denture bases to be mounted on upper and lower jaws in an oral cavity,
wherein one cusp out of cusps of the maxillary molar teeth and the mandibular molar teeth is engaged with a fossa of the antagonist, and at least one of the other cusps is engaged with a groove of the antagonist.

2 . Artificial molar teeth comprising maxillary molar teeth and mandibular molar teeth to be arranged so as to form a pair on denture bases to be mounted on upper and lower jaws in an oral cavity, the lingual cusp of the maxillary molar teeth contacting with the mandibular molar teeth, and the buccal cusp of the mandibular molar teeth contacting with the maxillary molar teeth,
wherein one cusp out of cusps of the maxillary molar teeth and the mandibular molar teeth is engaged with a fossa of the antagonist, and at least one of the other cusps is engaged with a groove of the antagonist.

3 . The artificial molar teeth according to claim 2 , wherein a pair of lingual cusps are provided in the maxillary molar teeth, and a pair of buccal cusps are provided in the mandibular molar teeth.

4 . The artificial molar teeth according to claim 2 , wherein the cusp to be engaged with the fossa is a crushing cusp.

5 . The artificial molar teeth according to claim 1 , wherein the other cusps except for the cusp engaged with the fossa and the cusp engaged with the groove are configured so as to contact with the bulged portions of the antagonist.

6 . The artificial molar teeth according to claim 2 , wherein the other cusps except for the cusp engaged with the fossa and the cusp engaged with the groove are configured so as to contact with the bulged portions of the antagonist.

7 . The artificial molar teeth according to claim 3 , wherein the other cusps except for the cusp engaged with the fossa and the cusp engaged with the groove are configured so as to contact with the bulged portions of the antagonist.

8 . The artificial molar teeth according to claim 4 , wherein the other cusps except for the cusp engaged with the fossa and the cusp engaged with the groove are configured so as to contact with the bulged portions of the antagonist.
