Abstract
An anticancer composition containing a flowery portion of elm tree or its extract and a leaf portion of varnish tree or its extract is safe and shows high activity.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A pharmaceutical composition for treating a cancer, comprising a flowery portion of elm tree or its extract and a leaf portion of varnish tree or its extract, wherein the cancer is at least one selected from the group consisting of malignant sarcoma, malignant adenoma, hemangiosarcoma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, mesenchymal tumor and soft tissue sarcoma.
2 . The pharmaceutical composition according to Claim 1 , wherein the elm tree is in Ulmus hollandica.
3 . The pharmaceutical composition according to Claim 2 , wherein the elm tree is selected from the group consisting of vegeta, commelin, groenveid, belgica, clusius, columella, dodoens and homestead.
4 . The pharmaceutical composition according to Claim 3 , wherein the elm tree is selected from the group consisting of vegeta, commelin and groenveid.
5 . The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 1 , comprising dried powder of the flowery portion of elm tree and dried powder of the leaf portion of varnish tree.
6 . The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 1 , comprising extract of the flowery portion of elm tree and extract of the leaf portion of varnish tree.

A method of treating a cancer selected from the group consisting of malignant sarcoma, malignant adenoma, hemangiosarcoma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, mesenchymal tumor and soft tissue sarcoma comprising administering to a subject having such a cancer an effective amount of the composition in accordance with claim 1 .
9 . The method according to claim 8 , wherein the cancer is malignant sarcoma.
10 . The method according to claim 8 , wherein the cancer is malignant adenoma.
11 . The method according to claim 8 , wherein the cancer is hemangiosarcoma.
12 . The method according to claim 8 , wherein the cancer is non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
13 . The method according to claim 8 , wherein the cancer is mesenchymal tumor.
