Abstract

A paper corner protector includes a corner reinforcement body ( 1 ) which consists of a cardboard ( 2 ) and a cavity ( 3 ), wherein the cavity ( 3 ) is formed by folding the cardboard ( 2 ) end to end. The present utility model enhances the convenience of cost during its transportation and decreases its storage space. Furthermore, a Kraft board is used as the raw material, which is recoverable and reusable and has water-absorbing capacity, so it meets the requirement of environmental protection. It can be expediently folded to become packaging corner protectors so as to be placed on the corners of a packing container such that it can provide favorable protective actions to the corners of the product in the container, such as buffer action, shockproof action and moisture proof action.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A paper corner protector, comprising a corner reinforcement body formed by folding a cardboard edge-to-edge and defined an empty cavity between inner and outer board walls of said corner reinforcement body, wherein the space between said two board walls is empty to form said cavity.

2 . The paper corner protector, as recited in claim 1 , wherein said corner reinforcement body has a L-shaped cross section.

3 . The paper corner protector, as recited in claim 1 , wherein said corner reinforcement body has a U-shaped cross section.

4 . The paper corner protector, as recited in claim 1 , wherein said corner reinforcement body has a U-shaped cross section, wherein one side longitudinal wall of said corner reinforcement body is higher than an opposed side longitudinal wall of said corner reinforcement body.

5 . The paper corner protector, as in claim 1 , 2 , 3 , or 4 , wherein said corner reinforcement body further has a reinforcement bouncing groove indently and longitudinally formed at an outer side of said outer board wall for preventing the deformation of said corner reinforcement body.

6 . The paper corner protector, as recited in claim 5 , wherein an apex of said reinforcement bouncing groove is biased against said inner board wall for applying a bouncing force against said inner board wall to retain a distance between said outer and inner board walls.

7 . The paper corner protector, as in claim 2 , 3 , or 4 , further comprising a reinforcing bouncer disposed within said cavity for reinforcing the structure of said corner reinforcement body.

8 . The paper corner protector, as recited in claim 7 , wherein said reinforcing bouncer has a longitudinal tubular structure and is made of paper to fit between the inner and outer board walls.

9 . The paper corner protector, as recited in claim 8 , wherein two said reinforcing bouncers are disposed within said cavity of said corner reinforcement body having a L-shaped cross section, wherein said two reinforcing bouncers are disposed within said cavity of the corner reinforcement body within an opposite portion and an adjacent portion thereof respectively, wherein a force transmitting link, which is made of paper, is coupled between said two reinforcing bouncers within said cavity of said corner reinforcement body.
