Abstract
The electrically connectable tile module includes a porous substrate having a top side, a bottom side, and at least two side edges. At least one connector is integrated into the porous substrate allowing adjoining electrically connectable the modules to be electrically connected to the porous substrate. At least one electrical element is disposed over the top side of the porous substrate and electrically connected to the at least one connector.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 49 . (canceled)
50 . A device for blending a photovoltaic tile or panel to its surroundings comprising a colored cover formed at least in part by an optically transmissive material.
51 . The device of claim 50 , wherein the cover is colored to match the surroundings.
52 . (canceled)
53 . The device of claim 50 , wherein portions of the cover are formed of an optically transmissive material having a first refractive index surrounded by an optical cladding material having a second and different refractive index.
54 . The device of claim 50 , wherein the cover is dome shaped, at least in part.
55 . The device of claim 50 , wherein the cover is formed of glass or a plastic or polymer material.
56 . (canceled)
57 . The device of claim 55 , wherein the cover is formed at least in part of bundled optical fibers.
58 . The device of claim 50 , wherein the cover is colored to blend with or match a roof tile or shingle, the ground, or a painted wall.
59 . A photovoltaic or photovoltaic and thermovoltaic tile or panel, covered at least in part by a device which blends the tile or panel with its surroundings.Cited by (0)
