Abstract

An input apparatus includes an input unit that receives a predetermined motion image signal, a motion detecting unit that detects a motion from the motion image signal received by the input unit, a video signal processing unit that outputs a predetermined video signal when a motion detected by the motion detecting unit is a predetermined motion, and a control unit that controls the video signal processing unit, in which the control unit controls the motion detecting unit not so as to detect a motion when the predetermined video signal is being outputted by the video signal processing unit, thereby providing a useful input apparatus for a user.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An input apparatus comprising:
an input unit that receives a predetermined motion image signal; a motion detecting unit that detects a motion from the motion image signal received by the input unit; a video signal processing unit that outputs a predetermined video signal when a motion detected by the motion detecting unit is a predetermined motion; and a control unit that controls the video signal processing unit so as to continue outputting the predetermined video signal when a subsequent motion from the predetermined motion to be detected by the motion detecting unit is an iteration motion and moves continuously at a speed equal to or faster than a predetermined speed.

2 . The input apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the control unit controls the motion detecting unit so as not to detect the motion when the motion is not continuously moved at the speed equal to or faster than the predetermined speed while the predetermined video signal is being outputted by the video signal processing unit.

3 . The input apparatus according to claim 2 wherein the control unit controls the motion detecting unit so as not to detect the motion during a predetermined period from when the predetermined video signal has been outputted by the video signal processing unit.

4 . The input apparatus according to claim 2 wherein the motion detecting unit detects a motion speed of the motion image signal received by the input unit, and the control unit controls the video signal processing unit so as to output a motion video in response to the detected motion speed.

5 . An input apparatus comprising:
an input unit that receives predetermined motion information; a video signal processing unit that outputs a predetermined video signal when the motion received by the input unit is the predetermined motion information; and a control unit that controls the video signal processing unit so as to continue outputting the predetermined video signal when subsequent motion information from the predetermined motion information received by the input unit is an iteration motion and moves continuously at a speed equal to or faster than a predetermined speed.

6 . The input apparatus according to claim 5 wherein the control unit controls the input unit so as not to received the motion information when the motion information is not continuously moved at the speed equal to or faster than the predetermined speed while the predetermined video signal is being outputted by the video signal processing unit.

7 . The input apparatus according to claim 6 wherein the predetermined motion information includes either pointing information or direction indicated information.
