Abstract
A method and system for generating profit having a partner transaction module configured to charge a partner transaction fee for a transaction performed by a partner, and receive, from a partner, payment for the partner transaction fee when the partner performs a transaction, a base transaction module configured to pay, in the event the partner performs a transaction through a third party, a base transaction fee to the third party, wherein the base transaction fee is equal to or lesser than the partner transaction fee, and a profit module configured to receive a profit on the transaction, wherein the profit is the difference between the partner transaction fee and the base transaction fee.

6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the interchange fee is based on at least one of a negotiated fee and a standard fee schedule.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein payment is at least one of direct payment, automatic payment, periodic payment, and batch payment.
8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the base transaction fee is based on one or more referral fees.
9 . A computer readable media comprising code to perform the acts of the method of claim 1 .
10 . A system for generating profit, comprising:
a partner transaction module configured to charge a partner transaction fee for a transaction performed by a partner, and receive, from a partner, payment for the partner transaction fee when the partner performs a transaction; a base transaction module configured to pay, in the event the partner performs a transaction through a third party, a base transaction fee to the third party, wherein the base transaction fee is equal to or lesser than the partner transaction fee; and a profit module configured to receive a profit on the transaction, wherein the profit is the difference between the partner transaction fee and the base transaction fee.
11 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the partner transaction fee is based on at least one of a periodic, per-item, and percentage basis.
12 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the partner transaction fee is determined by the partner's business volume.
