Abstract

The present invention relates to a DIY or a assemble furniture which has a containing room inside the furniture and connecting members on exterior surface of the furniture. According to the present invention, user is able to make many shapes of furniture by connecting at least one of rack modules.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 20 . (canceled)

       21 . A rack module comprising:
a frame defining a containing room; and convex-concave elements on an exterior surface of the frame, wherein a cross section of the convex-concave element has a triangular shape.

22 . The rack module of claim 21 , wherein a cross section of the rack module has a rectangular shape.

23 . The rack module of claim 21 , wherein the frame includes a first half block and a second half block.

24 . The rack module of claim 23 , wherein the first half block is removable from the second half block.

25 . The rack module of claim 24 , wherein a projection of the first half block interlocks with a groove of the second half block.

26 . The rack module of claim 23 , wherein a projection part formed on the first half block has an L-shape and a projection part formed on the second half block has an L-shape, wherein the projection part of the first half block and the projection part of the second half block make an interference fit each other.

27 . The rack module of claim 26 , wherein the first half block has a projection on a mating surface, and the second half block has a groove on a mating surface, wherein the groove has a complementary shape to the projection.

28 . The rack module of claim 21 , wherein a cross section of the rack module has a triangular shape.

29 . The rack module of claim 21 , wherein a cross section of the rack module has a circular shape.

       30 . A furniture assembly comprising:
a first containing module having a frame defining a containing room, and including a plurality of convex-concave elements on an exterior surface of the frame of the first containing module, wherein a cross section of each convex-concave element has a triangular shape; and a second containing module having a frame defining a containing room, and including a plurality of convex-concave elements on an exterior surface of the frame of the second containing module, wherein a cross section of each convex-concave element has a triangular shape, wherein the first containing module and the second containing module combine into a furniture assembly by mating the convex-concave elements.

31 . The furniture assembly of claim 30 , wherein cross sections of the first and the second modules have rectangular shapes.

32 . The furniture assembly of claim 31 , wherein the convex-concave elements formed on a edge of the first containing module combine with the convex-concave elements formed on a edge of the second containing module.

33 . The furniture assembly of claim 32 , wherein the convex-concave elements formed on a face of the first containing module combine with the convex-concave elements formed on a face of the second containing module.

34 . The furniture assembly of claim 30 , including a fixing member, wherein the fixing member fixes the convex-concave elements of the first containing module and the convex-concave elements of the second containing module in a mating orientation.

35 . The furniture assembly of claim 34 , wherein the fixing member includes:
a first inserting part contacting an interior surface of the first containing module; a second inserting part contacting an interior surface of the second containing module; and a connecting part which connects the first inserting part and the second inserting part.

36 . The furniture assembly of claim 35 , wherein a distance between the first inserting part and the second inserting part is variable.

37 . The furniture assembly of claim 30 , wherein linear grooves are formed on interior surfaces of the first and the second containing module.

38 . The furniture assembly of claim 37 further comprises a fixing member, wherein the fixing member includes:
a pair of inserting parts formed parallel with each other; a connecting part connecting the pair of inserting parts; and a pair of projection parts formed on each inserting part so that the projecting parts face each other, wherein the projection parts are inserted into each groove.

39 . The furniture assembly of claim 30 , wherein linear grooves are formed on surfaces of cross sections of the first and second containing modules.

40 . The furniture assembly of claim 39 further comprises a fixing member, wherein the fixing member includes:
a pair of inserting parts formed parallel with each other; and a connecting part connecting the pair of inserting parts, wherein the inserting parts are inserted into each groove.
