Abstract
A marker includes a base. The base has a first end, a middle portion and a second end, wherein the middle portion is located between the first end and the second end. A spring element is attached to the middle portion of the base. An elongated rod is attached to the spring element at a first end.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A marker, comprising:
a base having a first end, a middle portion and a second end, wherein the middle portion is located between the first end and the second end; a spring element attached to the middle portion of the base; and an elongated rod, attached to the spring element at a first end of the elongated rod.
2 . The marker of claim 1 , wherein the base is secured in a ground surface.
3 . The marker of claim 1 , wherein the first end of the base is removably affixed to a ground-securing unit.
4 . The marker of claim 3 , wherein the first end of base is removably affixed to a ground-securing unit at an acute angle.
5 . The marker of claim 1 , wherein the base is comprised of rust resistant materials.
6 . The marker of claim 1 , wherein the base has a collar groove located in the middle portion.
7 . The marker of claim 1 , wherein the base further comprises a driving structure formed in the second end of the base.
8 . The marker of claim 1 , wherein the elongated rod comprises reflective material.
9 . The marker of claim 1 , wherein the spring element is characterized as a cylindrical spring having a first end, a second end and a middle portion, wherein a diameter of the middle portion of the cylindrical spring exceeds a diameter of both the first end and the second end of the cylindrical spring.
10 . The marker of claim 1 , wherein an object is connected to a second end of the elongated rod.
11 . The marker of claim 10 , wherein the object connected to a second end of the elongated rod is removably affixed to the elongated rod with an integral mechanical attachment.
12 . The marker of claim 10 , wherein at least a portion of the object includes a printed material.
13 . The marker of claim 1 , wherein the spring element is removably attached to the elongated rod.
14 . The marker of claim 1 , wherein the spring element is removably attached to the middle portion of the base.
15 . A marker, comprising:
a base having a first end, a middle portion and a second end, wherein the middle portion is located between the first end and the second end; a driving structure, connected to the second end of the base; a cylindrical spring attached to the middle portion of the base, wherein the cylindrical spring has a first end, a second end and a middle portion, wherein the middle portion has a diameter that exceeds a diameter of the first end and the second end; and an elongated rod, attached to the second end of the cylindrical spring at a first end.
16 . The marker of claim 15 further comprising a collar groove located in the middle portion of the base.
17 . The marker of claim 15 further comprising an object attached to the second end of the elongated rod.
18 . A method of securing a roadway marker comprising:
attaching a spring element, at a first side, to a middle portion of a base, wherein the middle portion of the base is located between a first end and a second end of the base; attaching an elongated rod to a second side of the spring element; and securing the base to a stationary structure.
19 . The method of securing a roadway marker of claim 18 , wherein the stationary structure is a ground surface.
20 . The method of securing a roadway marker of claim 18 , wherein the stationary structure is a ground-securing unit situated to receive the base at an angle, wherein the angle is measured between an elongated axis of the base is and a horizon.Cited by (0)
