Remote Control Method of an Electronic Device by a Portable Communication Device

Abstract

A remote control method by a portable communication device, comprises steps of providing said portable communication device with a remote control module, a RF module embedded in said portable communication device for wireless vocal communication; a built-in display embedded in said portable communication device for display, a memory embedded in said portable communication device for store information; downloading a remote control information from an external source by said RF module; storing said downloaded remote information into said memory; controlling an external electronic device by sending remote controlling signals from said remote control module.

1 . A remote control method by a portable communication device, comprising:
 providing said portable communication device with a remote control module, a RF module embedded in said portable communication device for wireless vocal communication; a built-in display embedded in said portable communication device for display, a memory embedded in said portable communication device for store information;   downloading a remote control information from an external source by said RF module;   storing said downloaded remote information into said memory;   controlling an external electronic device by sending remote controlling signals from said remote control module.   
   
   
       2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein said remote control module includes infrared ray transmitter. 
   
   
       3 . The method of  claim 1 , furthering comprising providing an interface for downloading said remote control information into said portable communication device from said external source. 
   
   
       4 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein said external source includes internet database. 
   
   
       5 . A remote control method by a portable communication device, comprising: providing said portable communication device with a remote control module, a RF module embedded in said portable communication device for wireless vocal communication; a built-in display embedded in said portable communication device for display, a memory embedded in said portable communication device for store information;
 inputting a remote control information from an external source by said RF module;   storing said input remote information into said memory;   remote controlling an external electronic device by sending remote controlling signals from said remote control module.   
   
   
       6 . The method of  claim 5 , wherein said remote control module includes infrared ray transmitter. 
   
   
       7 . The method of  claim 5 , wherein said remote control information is provided by a smart card or a plugged-in card.
