Abstract
A gun sight base which is designed to allow the user to quickly adjust the elevation of the attached gun sight as a means to affect the trajectory of a projectile discharged from the host firearm. Provided is a removable, pre-calibrated adjustment cam which is in operational contact with the attached gun sight. A distance indicator is visible to the user to allow for rapid elevation adjustments without the need for tools.

An adjustable gun sight mount which includes a base, said base has a means to attach said base to a secondary mounting surface which is attached to a weapon; said mount further includes a optic mounting platform, said optic mounting platform has a means to secure a gun site; said mount further including an adjustable bridge which a top surface and a means to secure to said base, said top surface incorporates the optic mounting platform, a means to secure the adjustable bridge to the base on at least one end of the bridge are provided for and a means to laterally adjust the angle of the adjustable bridge; an adjustment cam assembly is provided with a means to secure to the base, and offers a means for interacting with and adjusting the adjustable bridge.
2 . The adjustable gun sight mount of claim 1 , wherein said adjustment cam assembly is removable; the amount of vertical movement allowed to the adjustable bridge is determined by the elevation cam which is attached to the adjustment cam assembly.
3 . The adjustable gun sight mount of claim 2 , wherein said base and said adjustment cam assembly have a means to indicate the angle of offset being provided to the adjustable bridge by the elevation cam of the adjustment cam assembly.
4 . The adjustable gun sight mount of claim 1 , wherein said base uses a throw lever system as a means to secure the mount to a weapon.

The adjustable gun sight mount of claim 1 , wherein the adjustable bridge is secure to and rotates on a pin that secures it to the front of the base, a spring loaded means is provided approximate the rear of the adjustable bridge along with an indexing hook which interacts with the elevation cam to vertically move the adjustable bridge assembly.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
