Communication system, information processing system, image forming apparatus and portable information terminal device

Abstract

An image forming apparatus includes a first wireless communication unit that receives data from a mobile phone, and a reader-writer that transmits an address of the first wireless communication unit to the mobile phone. The mobile phone includes a contact/non-contact IC card that receives the address, and a second wireless communication unit that transmits image data to the first wireless communication unit utilizing the address. When communication is made between the mobile phone and the image forming apparatus, the address of the first wireless communication unit is transmitted to the contact/non-contact IC card through the reader-writer, and the second wireless communication unit transmits data to the first wireless communication unit utilizing the address.

1 . A communication system, comprising:
 a portable electronic apparatus including a plurality of wireless communication units; and   an information processing device that communicates with the electronic apparatus;   wherein the information processing device includes:   a first communication unit that communicates with the electronic apparatus; and   a second communication unit that transmits identification data relevant to the first communication unit to the electronic apparatus;   and   the electronic apparatus includes:   a third communication unit that receives the identification data; and   a fourth communication unit that communicates with the first communication unit, utilizing the identification data received by the third communication unit.   
     
     
         2 . The communication system according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the second communication unit and the third communication unit make communication based on a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system, to thereby perform shorter-range wireless communication than between the first communication unit and the fourth communication unit.   
     
     
         3 . The communication system according to  claim 2 , wherein
 the identification data is stored in a free area in a memory region of the RFID system.   
     
     
         4 . An information processing system, comprising:
 a portable electronic apparatus; and   an information processing device that transmits and receives data to and from the electronic apparatus;   wherein the information processing device includes:   a first transmitter/receiver that transmits and receives data to and from the electronic apparatus; and   a second transmitter that transmits identification data relevant to the first transmitter/receiver to the electronic apparatus;   wherein the electronic apparatus includes:   a second receiver that receives the identification data; and   a third transmitter/receiver that transmits and receives data to and from the first transmitter/receiver, utilizing the identification data received by the second receiver.   
     
     
         5 . The information processing system according to  claim 4 ,
 wherein   the information processing device further includes:   a display unit;   an acquisition unit that acquires contents data in the electronic apparatus; and   a display control unit that causes the display unit to display an image based on the contents data acquired by the acquisition unit.   
     
     
         6 . The information processing system according to  claim 5 , wherein
 the electronic apparatus further includes a display unit, so that when the electronic apparatus is brought close within a predetermined distance from the second transmitter, with an image based on desired contents data being displayed on the display unit, the third transmitter/receiver transmits the desired contents data to the first transmitter/receiver.   
     
     
         7 . The information processing system according to  claim 4 , wherein
 the information processing device includes a notification unit that notifies the electronic apparatus of occurrence of an abnormality in the data processing, or normal completion of the data processing.   
     
     
         8 . The information processing system according to  claim 4 , wherein
 the second communication unit and the second receiver make communication based on a RFID system, to thereby perform shorter-range wireless communication than between the first transmitter/receiver and the third transmitter/receiver.   
     
     
         9 . The information processing system according to  claim 4 , wherein
 the information processing device is an image forming apparatus that forms an image based on acquired data.   
     
     
         10 . An image forming apparatus that acquires image data from an external device and forms an image based on the image data, comprising:
 a receiver that receives the image data from the external device; and   a transmitter that transmits identification data relevant to the receiver to the external device.   
     
     
         11 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 10 , further comprising:
 a display unit;   an acquisition unit that acquires contents data from the external device; and   a display control unit that causes the display unit to display an image based on the contents data acquired by the acquisition unit.   
     
     
         12 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 10 , further comprising:
 a notification unit that notifies the external device of the effect of occurrence of an abnormality in the image forming, or normal completion of the image forming.   
     
     
         13 . A portable information terminal device that communicates with an external device including two wireless communication units, comprising:
 a first communication unit that communicates with one of the two wireless communication units in the external device; and   a second communication unit that receives identification data relevant to the one of the wireless communication units through the other wireless communication unit in the external device;   wherein the first communication unit communicates with the one of the wireless communication units, utilizing the identification data received by the second communication unit.   
     
     
         14 . The portable information terminal device according to  claim 13 , wherein
 the second communication unit and the other wireless communication unit make communication based on a RFID system, and the identification data is stored in a free area in a memory region of the RFID system.   
     
     
         15 . The portable information terminal device according to  claim 13 , further comprising:
 a display unit that displays an image based on stored contents data;   wherein when the portable information terminal device is brought close within a predetermined distance from the other wireless communication unit, with an image based on desired contents data being displayed on the display unit, the first communication unit transmits the desired contents data to the one of the wireless communication units.
