Sleeping bag with mesh panel

Abstract

A sleeping bag ( 20 ) having a top ( 24 ), a bottom ( 26 ), a primary attachment structure ( 28 ) for attaching the top to the bottom so as to form a bag, and a secondary attachment structure ( 34 ), independent of the primary attachment structure, that is releasable to create an opening to provide access to an inside of the sleeping bag and that is closable to close the opening. A mesh panel ( 40 ) covers the opening when the secondary attachment structure is released.

1 . A sleeping bag, comprising:
 a top;   a bottom;   a primary attachment structure for attaching the top to the bottom so as to form a bag; and   a secondary attachment structure, independent of the primary attachment structure, that is releasable to create an opening to provide access for ventilation to the inside of the sleeping bag and that is closable to close the opening.   
   
   
       2 . The sleeping bag of  claim 1 , further comprising a mesh panel that, when the secondary attachment structure is released, covers the opening. 
   
   
       3 . The sleeping bag of  claim 2 , wherein the mesh panel stores inside the sleeping bag when the mesh panel is closed. 
   
   
       4 . The sleeping bag of  claim 2 , wherein the secondary attachment structure is positioned at a foot end of the sleeping bag. 
   
   
       5 . The sleeping bag of  claim 2 , wherein, to close the sleeping bag, the top is folded over the bottom, and the top and the bottom are connected by the primary attachment structure. 
   
   
       6 . The sleeping bag of  claim 5 , wherein the primary attachment structure comprises a first zipper comprising an upper zipper tape connected to the top and a lower zipper tape connected to the bottom. 
   
   
       7 . The sleeping bag of  claim 6 , wherein the secondary attachment structure comprises a second zipper. 
   
   
       8 . The sleeping bag of  claim 7 , wherein the second zipper comprises a first zipper tape and a second zipper tape, and wherein the first zipper tape for the second zipper is connected to one of the upper zipper tape and the lower zipper tape for the first zipper, and the first zipper tape for the second zipper is connected to the top or the bottom. 
   
   
       9 . The sleeping bag of  claim 8 , wherein the mesh panel stores inside the sleeping bag when the mesh panel is closed. 
   
   
       10 . The sleeping bag of  claim 8 , wherein the secondary attachment structure is positioned at a foot end of the sleeping bag. 
   
   
       11 . The sleeping bag of  claim 1 , wherein the secondary attachment structure is positioned at a foot end of. the sleeping bag. 
   
   
       12 . The sleeping bag of  claim 1 , wherein, to close the sleeping bag, the top is folded over the bottom, and the top and the bottom are connected by the primary attachment structure. 
   
   
       13 . The sleeping bag of  claim 12 , wherein the primary attachment structure comprises a first zipper comprising an upper zipper tape connected to the top and a lower zipper tape connected to the bottom. 
   
   
       14 . The sleeping bag of  claim 13 , wherein the secondary attachment structure comprises a second zipper. 
   
   
       15 . The sleeping bag of  claim 14 , wherein the second zipper comprises a first zipper tape and a second zipper tape, and wherein the first zipper tape for the second zipper is connected to one of the upper zipper tape and the lower zipper tape for the first zipper, and the first zipper tape for the second zipper is connected to the top or the bottom. 
   
   
       16 . A sleeping bag, comprising:
 a top;   a bottom;   a primary attachment structure for attaching the top to the bottom so as to form a bag;   a secondary attachment structure that is releasable to create an opening to provide access to an inside of the sleeping bag and that is closable to close the opening; and   a mesh panel that, when the secondary attachment structure is released, covers the opening.   
   
   
       17 . The sleeping bag of  claim 16 , wherein the mesh panel stores inside the sleeping bag when the mesh panel is closed. 
   
   
       18 . The sleeping bag of  claim 16 , wherein the secondary attachment structure is positioned at a foot end of the sleeping bag. 
   
   
       19 . The sleeping bag of  claim 16 , wherein, to close the sleeping bag, the top is folded over the bottom, and the top and the bottom are connected by the primary attachment structure. 
   
   
       20 . The sleeping bag of  claim 19 , wherein the primary attachment structure comprises a first zipper comprising an upper zipper tape connected to the top and a lower zipper tape connected to the bottom. 
   
   
       21 . The sleeping bag of  claim 20 , wherein the secondary attachment structure comprises a second zipper. 
   
   
       22 . The sleeping bag of  claim 21 , wherein the second zipper comprises a first zipper tape and a second zipper tape, and wherein the first zipper tape for the second zipper is connected to one of the upper zipper tape and the lower zipper tape for the first zipper, and the first zipper tape for the second zipper is connected to the top or the bottom. 
   
   
       23 . The sleeping bag of  claim 22 , wherein the mesh panel stores inside the sleeping bag when the mesh panel is closed. 
   
   
       24 . The sleeping bag of  claim 23 , wherein the secondary attachment structure is positioned at a foot end of the sleeping bag.
