Abstract

Methods of preparing devices for delivering at least one therapeutic agent to a target vessel in a mammal, the devices prepared by such methods, and uses of such devices for delivering a therapeutic agent, such as an antiproliferative agent, to a target vessel.

1 . A perivascular wrap comprising a polymer and an antiproliferative drug, wherein said wrap forms a flexible sheet having a thickness of about 10 μm to about 1000 μm. 
     
     
         2 . The perivascular wrap according to  claim 1  comprising about 0.001 weight percent to about 30 weight percent of said antiproliferative drug. 
     
     
         3 . The perivascular wrap according to  claim 1  wherein said antiproliferative drug comprises rapamycin or a macrocyclic lactone analog thereof. 
     
     
         4 . The perivascular wrap according to  claim 1  wherein said polymer is degradable. 
     
     
         5 . The perivascular wrap according to  claim 1  wherein said polymer is non-degradable. 
     
     
         6 . A perivascular coating composition in the form of a flexible sheet, said sheet comprising a polymer and a therapeutic agent, wherein said polymer has a melting temperature of above 37° C. 
     
     
         7 . The perivascular coating composition according to  claim 6  wherein said polymer has a melting temperature of about of 40° C.-45° C. 
     
     
         8 . The perivascular coating composition according to  claim 6  wherein said polymer is degradable. 
     
     
         9 . The perivascular coating composition according to  claim 6  wherein said polymer is non-degradable. 
     
     
         10 . The perivascular coating composition according to  claim 6  wherein said therapeutic agent comprises rapamycin or a macrocyclic lactone analog thereof.
