Device and method for coating workpieces
Abstract
The invention concerns a device ( 1 ) for the coating of workpieces ( 2 ) which preferably consist, at least in sections, of wood, wooden materials, plastics, aluminium or the like, comprising: a feed means ( 10 ) for feeding a coating material ( 12 ), a pressing means ( 20 ) for pressing the coating material ( 12 ) onto a surface ( 2 a ) of a workpiece ( 2 ), a conveyor means ( 4 ) for causing a relative motion between the pressing means ( 20 ) and the respective workpiece ( 2 ), and a first joining means ( 30; 50 ) for applying and/or activating an adhesive agent on a coating material ( 12 ) fed by the feed means ( 10 ) and/or a surface to be coated of the workpiece ( 2 ), characterized in that the device further comprises at least a second joining means ( 40; 60 ) for applying and/or activating an adhesive agent on a coating material ( 12 ) fed by the feed means ( 10 ) and/or a surface to be coated of a workpiece ( 2 ).
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A device for the coating of workpieces which preferably consist, at least in sections, of wood, wooden materials, plastics, aluminium or the like, comprising:
a feeding means for feeding a coating material; a pressing means for pressing the coating material onto a surface of a workpiece; a conveyor means for causing a relative movement between the pressing means and the respective workpiece; a first joining means for applying and/or activating an adhesive agent on a coating material fed by the feed means and/or a surface to be coated of the workpiece; and
at least a second joining means for applying and/or activating an adhesive agent on a coating material fed by the feed means and/or a surface to be coated of a workpiece.
2 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein the first and the at least second joining means are configured to apply and/or activate an adhesive agent in alternation.
3 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein at least one joining means is arranged stationary.
4 . The device according to claim 1 ,
wherein: at least one of said first and second joining means is movable between a joining position and a rest position.
5 . The device according to claim 4 , wherein at least one drive is provided in order to move at least one joining means between a joining position and a rest position.
6 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein at least one joining means is releasably insertable into a collet in a joining position of the device.
7 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein at least one joining means is arranged at a displaceable guide means, wherein the at least one joining means is displaceable along the guide means.
8 . The device according to claim 7 , wherein the device further comprises at least a mandrel unit having a collet for automatically substituting processing tools and/or processing aggregates.
9 . The device according to claim 8 , wherein at least one joining means is substitutable into the collet of a mandrel unit.
10 . The device according to claim 8 , wherein at least one joining means is associated with a mandrel unit in order to be displaceable together.
11 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein at least one joining means is associated with a corresponding pressing means for pressing the coating material onto a surface of a workpiece.
12 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein at least a joining means comprises an energy source chosen from the group consisting of laser, infrared source, ultrasound source, magnetic field source, microwave source, plasma source, and gassing source.
13 . A method for the coating of workpieces including at least sections, of wood, wooden materials, plastics, aluminium or the like, comprising the steps of:
causing a relative motion between a pressing means and the respective workpiece by means of a conveyor; feeding the coating material by means of a feed means; applying and/or activating an adhesive agent on a coating material fed by the feed means and/or a surface to be coated of a workpiece by means of the first joining means; and applying and/or activating an adhesive agent on a coating material fed by the feed means and/or a surface to be coated of a further workpiece by means of a second joining means.
14 . The method according to claim 13 , wherein the first joining means is moved, in particular displaced, from a joining position into a rest position after applying and/or activating an adhesive agent.
15 . The method according to claim 13 , wherein the second joining means is brought, in particular displaced or manually inserted, into a joining position before applying and/or activating an adhesive agent.
16 . The device according to claim 6 wherein the releasably insertable joining means is a quick action coupling.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
