Also provided are opaque or fully or partially transparent protective coverings for furniture which can be used for protection during transportation or storage also containing a variety of types of indicia which may be permanent or temporary.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A protective covering for furniture comprising:
(a) a polymeric sheet, and (b) selected indicia; wherein the polymeric sheet is opaque or fully or partially transparent, and further wherein the selected indicia are temporary or permanently applied to the polymeric sheet.
. The covering of claim 1 , wherein the covering is temporary and capable of being reused.
. The covering of claim 2 , wherein the indicia are decorative, topical, informational and/or celebratory indicia and the indicia are selectively arranged as designs, alphanumeric, geometric and/or patterns.
. The covering of claim 3 , wherein the temporary or permanent indicia are applied as inks to either one or both sides of the sheet, and wherein the inks are comprised of pigment colorants and/or dye colorants.
. The covering of claim 4 , further comprising a layer on the side of the covering that is applied to the furniture that adheres, the covering being capable of removal and wherein the adhesive leaves little to no residue when the covering is removed.
. The covering of claim 5 , further comprising one or more additional sheets optionally comprising indicia applied either as ink or by mechanically methods and optionally laminated to the polymeric sheet.
. The covering of claim 4 , wherein one of the outer surfaces of the covering has been statically charged.
. The covering of claim 7 , further comprising one or more additional sheets optionally comprising indicia applied either as ink or by mechanically methods and optionally laminated to the polymeric sheet.
. The covering of claim 4 , wherein the inks comprise photoluminescent pigments and/or dyes.
. The covering of claim 9 , further comprising a layer on the side of the covering that is applied to the furniture that adheres, the covering being capable of removal and wherein the adhesive leaves little to no residue when the covering is removed.
. The covering of claim 10 , further comprising one or more additional sheets optionally comprising indicia applied either as ink or by mechanically methods and optionally laminated to the polymeric sheet.
. The covering of claim 9 , wherein one of the outer surfaces of the covering has been statically charged.
. The covering of claim 12 , further comprising one or more additional sheets optionally comprising indicia applied either as ink or by mechanically methods and optionally laminated to the polymeric sheet.
. The covering of claim 3 , wherein the permanent indicia are applied by embossing or other method of mechanical printing into or onto the sheet.
. The covering of claim 14 , further comprising a layer on the side of the covering that is applied to the furniture that adheres, the covering being capable of removal and wherein the adhesive leaves little to no residue when the covering is removed.
. The covering of claim 15 , further comprising one or more additional sheets optionally comprising indicia applied either as ink or by mechanically methods and optionally laminated to the polymeric sheet.
. The covering of claim 14 , wherein one of the outer surfaces of the covering has been statically charged.
. The covering of claim 17 , further comprising one or more additional sheets optionally comprising indicia applied either as ink or by mechanically methods and optionally laminated to the polymeric sheet.Cited by (0)
