Scent minimizing outdoor urinal

Abstract

A method and device for a scent minimizing outdoor urinal having a urine collection container, a hose connected to the urine collection container and extending down through the closeable lid of a disposal bucket buried in the ground and containing a filtration medium and having drainage holes.

1 . A scent minimizing outdoor urinal comprising:
 a hollow urine collection container having a top opening and a bottom opening that is smaller than the top opening;   a hose with a first end and a second end, the first end coupling with the bottom opening of the urine collection container and the second end extending downward into a disposal bucket;   a disposal bucket buried in the ground and having a top end and a bottom end, the top end having a closeable lid and the bottom end having drainage holes;   a filtration medium in the disposal bucket.   
     
     
         2 . The scent minimizing outdoor urinal as set forth in  claim 1  wherein the top opening of the urine collection container is closeable. 
     
     
         3 . The scent minimizing outdoor urinal as set forth in  claim 1  wherein the bottom end of the urine collection container has a closeable spout. 
     
     
         4 . The scent minimizing outdoor urinal as set forth in  claim 1  wherein the bottom end of the urine collection container has a one way valve. 
     
     
         5 . The scent minimizing outdoor urinal as set forth in  claim 1  wherein the filtration medium consists of the main ingredient of activated carbon. 
     
     
         6 . The scent minimizing outdoor urinal as set forth in  claim 1  wherein the filtration medium consists of the main ingredient of zeolyte. 
     
     
         7 . The scent minimizing outdoor urinal as set forth in  claim 1  wherein the urine collection container is placed inside an elevated hunting blind. 
     
     
         8 . The scent minimizing outdoor urinal as set forth in  claim 7  wherein the hose is attached to a leg of the elevated hunting blind. 
     
     
         9 . The scent minimizing outdoor urinal as set forth in  claim 1  wherein the hose is placed inside a tree stand. 
     
     
         10 . The scent minimizing outdoor urinal as set forth in  claim 1  wherein a scent minimizing rinse is poured into the urine collection container after urinating. 
     
     
         11 . The scent minimizing rinse of  claim 10  wherein the main ingredient of the rinse is selected from the group consisting of: activated carbon, zeolyte. 
     
     
         12 . A method for disposing of urine outdoors while minimizing scent, comprising the steps of:
 placing a hollow urine collection container having a top opening and a bottom opening at a desired location above the ground;   coupling a first end of a hose to the bottom opening of the container;   placing a filtration medium into a disposal bucket having drainage holes and a closeable lid;   passing a second end of the hose through an entry hole into the disposal bucket, and burying the disposal bucket in the ground.   
     
     
         13 . The method of  claim 12  wherein the urine collection container may be closeable at the top opening. 
     
     
         14 . The method of  claim 12  wherein the urine collection container may have a one way spout at the bottom opening. 
     
     
         15 . The method of  claim 12  wherein the user may, after urinating and prior to closing the closeable lid and closeable spout, rinse the container with a scent minimizing substance to further minimize odor. 
     
     
         16 . The method of  claim 12  wherein the scent minimizing rinse has a main ingredient of carbon and is mixed with water.
