Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A synergistic sweetening composition comprising: sucralose and a purified extract of stevia.
. The composition of claim 1 , wherein the purified stevia extract comprises rebaudioside A ranging from about 40% to about 100%.
. The composition of claim 1 , wherein the purified stevia extract comprises less than about 50% rebaudiosides and dulcosides.
. The composition of claim 1 , wherein the sucralose and the purified stevia extract are present in a ratio of about 90:10 to about 10:90.
. The composition of claim 4 , wherein the ratio is about 80:20 to about 20:80.
. The composition of claim 4 , wherein the ratio is about 30:70 to about 70:30.
. The composition of claim 2 , wherein the relative sweetness contribution is from about 3:1 to about 1:3.
. The composition of claim 1 , wherein the purified extract of stevia is selected from the group consisting of rebaudioside A, rebaudioside B, rebaudioside C, rebaudioside D, rebaudioside E, dulcoside A, dulcoside B, and combinations thereof.
. The composition of claim 1 , wherein the purified extract of stevia is selected from the group consisting of rebaudiosides, dulcosides, and combinations thereof.
. The composition of claim 1 , wherein the sweetness contribution ratio of sucralose and the purified stevia extract is about 90:10 to about 10:90.
. A method of making a food or beverage product comprising the step of (a) including sucralose and a purified extract of stevia.
. A method of sweetening a food or beverage product comprising the step of (a) adding sucralose and a purified extract of stevia to the food or beverage product.
