Abstract
Provided are an ice bank fixation device for a refrigerator, and a refrigerator including the ice bank fixation device. The ice bank fixation device includes a first coupling part disposed at an ice bank and a second coupling part. The second coupling part is configured to keep the ice bank at a position attached to a backside of a refrigerator door by an interlocking motion with the second coupling part.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An ice bank fixation device for a refrigerator, comprising:
a first coupling part formed at an ice bank; and a second coupling part configured to keep the ice bank at a position attached to a backside of a refrigerator door by an interlocking motion with the first coupling part.
2 . The ice bank fixation device according to claim 1 , wherein the second coupling part comprises recesses formed in supports extending backward from both sides of the backside of the refrigerator door.
3 . The ice bank fixation device according to claim 2 , wherein the first coupling part is rotatable on the ice bank.
4 . The ice bank fixation device according to claim 3 , wherein the first coupling part comprises an end extending from a rotation center of the first coupling part for coupling with the second coupling part.
5 . The ice bank fixation device according to claim 4 , wherein the first coupling part further comprises a lever on the other end thereof for handling the first coupling part.
6 . The ice bank fixation device according to claim 3 , further comprising an elastic member applying an elastic force to the first coupling part to rotate the first coupling part for coupling with the second coupling part.
7 . The ice bank fixation device according to claim 1 , wherein the first coupling part comprises one of a protrusion insertable into the second coupling part and a recess capable of receiving the second coupling part.
8 . A refrigerator comprising:
a refrigerator door; an ice bank detachably attached to a backside of the refrigerator door; and a fixation device providing a fixing force so as to keep the ice bank at a position attached to the backside of the refrigerator door.
9 . The refrigerator according to claim 8 , wherein the fixation device comprises:
a first coupling part formed at the ice bank; and a second coupling part formed at the refrigerator door for coupling with the first coupling part.
10 . The refrigerator according to claim 9 , wherein the first coupling part is rotatable on the ice bank, and the second coupling part comprises a recess in the refrigerator door.
11 . The refrigerator according to claim 10 , wherein the fixation device further comprises a shaft on which the first coupling part rotates, and the first coupling part comprises an end extending away from the shaft and insertable into the second coupling part.
12 . The refrigerator according to claim 11 , wherein the first coupling part further comprises a lever on the other end thereof for rotating the first coupling part.
13 . The refrigerator according to claim 10 , wherein the ice bank comprises a rotation space allowing rotation of the first coupling part.
14 . The refrigerator according to claim 9 , wherein the first coupling part comprises a protrusion on the ice bank, and the second coupling part comprises a recess in the refrigerator door for receiving the protrusion.
15 . A refrigerator comprising:
a refrigerator door; an icemaker mounted on the refrigerator door; an ice bank detachably attached to the refrigerator door; a first coupling part formed at the ice bank; and a second coupling part formed at the icemaker or the refrigerator door to keep the ice bank at a position attached to the refrigerator door by an interlocking motion with the first coupling part.
16 . The refrigerator according to claim 15 , wherein the second coupling part is disposed at the refrigerator door, and the first and second coupling parts are coupled to each other by insertion.Cited by (0)
