Abstract
The present invention refers to an automatic dispenser for periodically spraying an amount of liquid from two aerosol containers. (A, B) Preferably the two aerosol containers (A. B) contain liquid of different nature, such as different perfume or active substance composition, so that the same device is capable of dispensing alternatively two or more different substances.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . Automatic dual spray dispensing device for periodically spraying liquids, comprising:
a first spray valve for spraying a first liquid; a cam element pivotally mounted in the device and arranged to move from a rest position to a first activation position in which the cam activates said first spray valve, an electric motor having a drive shaft operatively engaged with said cam element for operating said cam element; an electronic timer associated with said electric motor to command the motor's operation; and a second spray valve; wherein the cam element is configured to selectively activate said first and second spray valves, operated by said motor, in such a manner that the activation of the motor in one direction causes the cam element to move to said first activation position in which one of the spray valves is activated, and wherein the activation of the motor in the another direction causes the cam element to move to a second activation position in which the other spray valve is activated.
2 . Device according to claim 1 , further comprising electronic means connected to terminals of the electric motor for alternatively changing a rotation direction of the drive shaft.
3 . Device according to claim 1 , wherein the cam element has a T-shaped configuration, having a left arm, a right arm and a central arm, and wherein the cam element is pivotally mounted in the device at a pivot point located in a longitudinal axis of the central arm.
4 . Device according to claim 3 , wherein the drive shaft of the motor is operatively engaged with the central arm of the cam element by means of speed reduction gears.
5 . Device according to claim 4 , wherein a free end of the central arm has a toothed configuration and one of said reduction gear is meshed with said free end.
6 . Device according to claim 1 , wherein the motor, the central arm of the cam element, and the speed reduction gears are located in between a space provided in the device for receiving containers.
7 . Device according to claim 6 , wherein said spray valves are coupled to containers for containing liquid.
8 . Device according to claim 7 , wherein the liquids inside said containers have a different nature.Cited by (0)
