Abstract

A drape for maintaining a sanitary surface. The drape is made of a semi-rigid sheet of material. The semi-rigid sheet includes at least one temporary attachment point. The temporary attachment point is disposed on substantially a first edge of the semi-rigid sheet. Additionally, the semi-rigid sheet includes at least one lip. The lip is formed by a portion of the semi-rigid sheet. The lip is disposed at a second edge of the semi-rigid sheet.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A drape for maintaining a sanitary surface, comprising:
a semi-rigid sheet of material; wherein said semi-rigid sheet includes at least one temporary attachment point disposed thereon at substantially a first edge of said semi-rigid sheet, and at least one lip formed by a portion of said semi-rigid sheet disposed at a second edge of said semi-rigid sheet.

2 . The drape of claim 1 , wherein said second edge of said semi-rigid sheet is substantially opposite said first edge of said semi-rigid sheet.

3 . The drape of claim 1 , wherein said second edge of said semi-rigid sheet is substantially adjacent to said first edge of said semi-rigid sheet.

4 . The drape of claim 1 , wherein said semi-rigid sheet is disposable.

5 . The drape of claim 1 , wherein said semi-rigid sheet is biodegradable.

6 . The drape of claim 1 , wherein said semi-rigid sheet is recyclable.

7 . The drape of claim 1 , wherein said semi-rigid sheet is fabricated from a porous material with an average pore size that pieces of hair cannot pass through.

8 . The drape of claim 1 , wherein said semi-rigid sheet has an upward facing surface that is substantially smooth.

9 . The drape of claim 1 , wherein said semi-rigid sheet has an upward facing surface with sufficient roughness to retard sliding of pieces of hair.

10 . The drape of claim 1 , wherein said semi-rigid sheet is fabricated from at least one of paper, plastic, or foil.

11 . The drape of claim 1 , wherein said semi-rigid sheet includes no holes.

12 . The drape of claim 1 , wherein said semi-rigid sheet is folded horizontally, such that said sheet is substantially in one horizontal plane.

13 . The drape of claim 1 , wherein said at least one temporary attachment point is disposed on a downward facing surface of said semi-rigid sheet.

14 . The drape of claim 1 , wherein said at least one temporary attachment point further comprises adhesive material.

15 . The drape of claim 1 , wherein said at least one temporary attachment point further comprises tie strings.

16 . The drape of claim 1 , wherein said at least one lip extends out of a plane in which said semi-rigid sheet is substantially located, such that said sheet and said at least one lip form an obtuse angle.

17 . The drape of claim 1 , wherein said at least one lip extends out of a plane in which said semi-rigid sheet is substantially located, such that said sheet and said at least one lip form an acute angle.

18 . The drape of claim 1 , wherein said at least one lip extends out of a plane in which said semi-rigid sheet is substantially located, such that said sheet and said at least one lip form a right angle.

         19 . A drape dispensing kit, comprising:
a storage device; and a plurality of drapes, as recited in claim 1 ; wherein, said plurality of drapes are laid out flat in a stack and stored within said storage device.

20 . A method of using a drape, comprising the following steps:
providing a drape, as recited in claim 1 ; and attaching the drape to a vertical surface using the at least one temporary attachment point, such that the drape extends horizontally away and vertically downward from the at least one temporary attachment point.
