Abstract
A portable device for sharpening the edges of a ski is composed of a carriage equipped with first and second pressing means on the ski in lateral and transverse directions, and of a support mounted on the carriage and comprising fixing means of a machining unit. The fixing means enable translation of the machining unit with respect to the support in a first adjustment direction included in a lateral-transverse plane. The connecting means between the carriage and support enable on the one hand swivelling of the support through 90 degrees around a swivelling axis oriented in a longitudinal direction perpendicular to the lateral-transverse plane, and on the other hand translation of the support in a second adjustment direction included in the lateral-transverse plane and perpendicular to the first adjustment direction.

first pressing means in a lateral direction designed to be applied against the side, and second pressing means in a transverse direction designed to be applied against the base, and fixing means of a machining unit comprising an abrasive tool that is abrasive by rotation and a drive motor of the abrasive tool, said fixing means authorizing translation of the machining unit in a first adjustment direction included in the lateral-transverse plane and coinciding with the axis of rotation of the abrasive tool, wherein the frame is composed of a carriage equipped with the first and second pressing means, and with a support comprising said fixing means, and mounted on the carriage by connecting means having: first means enabling swivelling of the support through 90 degrees around a swivelling axis oriented in a longitudinal direction perpendicular to the lateral-transverse plane, between a first machining position of the lateral face and a second machining position of the bottom face, and second means enabling translation of the support in a second adjustment direction included in the lateral-transverse plane and perpendicular to the first adjustment direction.
2 . Device according to claim 1 , wherein the connecting means comprise means for precise adjustment of the angular position of the support with respect to the carriage around the swivelling axis in each of the first and second positions.
3 . Device according to claim 1 , wherein the connecting means comprise means for precise adjustment of the position of the support with respect to the carriage in the second adjustment direction in each of the first and second positions.
4 . Device according to claim 1 , wherein the fixing means comprise means for precise adjustment of the position of the machining unit with respect to the support in the first adjustment direction in each of the first and second positions.
5 . Device according to claim 1 , wherein the connecting means are formed by a linear movement system having a sliding part connected to the support and a guiding part connected to a rotating part of a rotary system a fixed part whereof is connected to the carriage.
6 . Device according to claim 1 , wherein the first pressing means comprise rollers designed to roll on the side of the ski.
