Abstract

The invention relates to a tube bundle heat exchanger for transferring heat for the temperature sensitive and/or polymerisible substances. Said heat exchanger comprises a housing ( 4 ) having one or more product outlets ( 8 ) and one or more product inlets ( 1 ) and a tube bundle is arranged in said housing. Displacer rods ( 7, 10, 12, 15 ) are arranged in the tubes of the tube bundle and at least one heat exchanger cap of the tube bundle heat exchanger is filled with displacer bodies ( 3 ) for reducing the volume filled with the product.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A tube-bundle heat exchanger for heat transfer in at least one of a temperature-sensitive media and a polymerizable media,
wherein a tube bundle is arranged in a housing having one or more product exits and one or more product entries; displacement rods are arranged in tubes of the tube bundle; and at least one heat exchanger cover of the tube-bundle heat exchanger is filled with displacement bodies for reducing a product-filled volume.

         2 . The tube-bundle heat exchanger according to claim 1 ,
wherein the displacement rods are removable for a cleaning purpose.

         3 . The tube-bundle heat exchanger according to claim 1 ,
wherein the displacement rods have self-centering cross sections.

         4 . The tube-bundle heat exchanger according to claim 1 ,
wherein the displacement rods fill more than 40% of a volume of the tubes.

         5 . The tube-bundle heat exchanger according to claim 1 ,
wherein the displacement rods fill more than 50% of a volume of the tubes.

         6 . The tube-bundle heat exchanger according to claim 1 ,
wherein the displacement rods fill more than 60% of a volume of the tubes.

         7 . The tube-bundle heat exchanger according to claim 1 ,
wherein the displacement rods fill not more than 95% of a volume of the tubes.

8 . A method for synthesizing a polymer, comprising heating the polymer in the tube-bundle heat exchanger according to claim 1 .

9 . A tube-bundle heat exchanger for heat transfer in at least one of a temperature-sensitive media and a polymerizable media,
wherein a tube bundle is arranged in a substantially cylindrical housing having one or more product exits and one or more product entries; displacement rods are arranged in tubes of the tube bundle; and at least one tray of the tube-bundle heat exchanger is in the form of a flat tray for reducing a product-filled volume.

         10 . The tube-bundle heat exchanger according to claim 9 ,
wherein a residence time of a product in recesses of the flat tray is between 0.5 s and 40 s.
