Claims

Abstract

An outdoor canopy includes a canopy frame, a canopy shelter and a side entrance arrangement. The canopy frame includes a roof frame and a legs frame downwardly extended from the roof frame to form a canopy area. The canopy shelter, which is made of waterproof fabric, is detachably fastening at the canopy frame to define a ceiling wall, a front wall, a rear wall and two sidewalls for enclosing the canopy area therewithin. The side entrance arrangement is formed on one of the sidewalls of the canopy shelter for a user to gain entry to and exit the canopy area without having to pass through the front entrance, wherein the side entrance arrangement contains a side entrance opening formed on the corresponding sidewall of the canopy shelter, and comprise at least one entrance fabric operatively mounted on the corresponding sidewall.

1 . An outdoor canopy for a vehicle, comprising:
 a canopy frame defining a canopy area for said vehicle parking therewithin;   a canopy shelter, which is made of waterproof fabric, being supported by said canopy frame and defining a ceiling wall, a front wall, a rear wall, and first and second sidewalls to enclose said canopy area therewithin for sheltering said vehicle, wherein said canopy shelter has a front entrance formed at said front wall for said vehicle entering into said canopy area; and   a side entrance arrangement for a driver accessing said canopy area without having to pass through said front entrance, wherein said side entrance arrangement has at least a side entrance opening provided at said sidewall of said canopy shelter and at least a side door overlapping with said side entrance opening and movably coupling with said canopy frame to adjustably move between a closed position for closing up said side entrance opening and an opened position for accessing said canopy area.   
     
     
         2 . The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 1 , wherein said side door has a top edge extended from said canopy shelter such that said side door is pivotally and upwardly folded from said sidewall of said canopy shelter to open up said side entrance opening and to form an awning of said canopy shelter.

The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 1 , wherein said canopy frame comprises a shelter supporting frame supporting said canopy shelter thereat, and a door frame which is pivotally extended from said shelter supporting frame and is coupled with said side door to pivotally fold said side door between said closed position and said opened position.

The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 2 , wherein said canopy frame comprises a shelter supporting frame supporting said canopy shelter thereat, and a door frame which is pivotally extended from said shelter supporting frame and is coupled with said side door to pivotally fold said side door between said closed position and said opened position. 
     
     
         5 . The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 4 , wherein said door frame comprises two pivot arms pivotally coupling with said shelter supporting frame at a position that said side door is supported by said pivot arms such that when said pivot arms are pivotally and upwardly folded, said side door is correspondingly folded upward to open up said side entrance opening.

The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 5 , wherein each of said pivot arms is pivotally coupled with said shelter supporting frame via an adjustable pivot joint which comprises an arc-shaped pivot member, having a plurality of angle adjustment holes, pivotally coupling with said shelter supporting frame at a pivot point and a detachable fastener detachably and selectively coupling one of said angle adjustment holes of said pivot member with said shelter supporting frame to selectively adjust a pivot angle of said pivot arm with respect to said shelter supporting frame.

The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 1 , wherein said side entrance arrangement further comprises a first fastener provided at a surrounding edge of said side entrance opening respectively, and a second fastener provided at a peripheral edge of said side door to detachably fasten with said first fastener so as to selectively enclose said side entrance opening by said side door. 
     
     
         8 . The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 6 , wherein said side entrance arrangement further comprises a first fastener provided at a surrounding edge of said side entrance opening respectively, and a second fastener provided at a peripheral edge of said side door to detachably fasten with said first fastener so as to selectively enclose said side entrance opening by said side door. 
     
     
         9 . The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 1 , wherein said canopy shelter further comprises a partition wall detachably coupling between two sidewalls to partition said canopy area into a garage area between said front wall and said partition wall, and a storage area between said partition wall and said rear wall, and a storage door for accessing said storage area in an enclosable manner. 
     
     
         10 . The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 8 , wherein said canopy shelter further comprises a partition wall detachably coupling between two sidewalls to partition said canopy area into a garage area between said front wall and said partition wall, and a storage area between said partition wall and said rear wall, and a storage door for accessing said storage area in an enclosable manner. 
     
     
         11 . The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 9 , wherein said canopy shelter further comprises a plurality of first partition wall fasteners spacedly provided at each of said sidewalls and a plurality of second partition wall fasteners provided at two side edges of said partition wall to detachably and selectively fasten with said first partition wall fasteners respectively so as to selectively adjust a size of said storage area of said canopy shelter. 
     
     
         12 . The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 10 , wherein said canopy shelter further comprises a plurality of first partition wall fasteners spacedly provided at each of said sidewalls and a plurality of second partition wall fasteners provided at two side edges of said partition wall to detachably and selectively fasten with said first partition wall fasteners respectively so as to selectively adjust a size of said storage area of said canopy shelter. 
     
     
         13 . An outdoor canopy for a vehicle, comprising:
 a canopy frame defining a canopy area for said vehicle parking therewithin;   a canopy shelter, which is made of waterproof fabric, being supported by said canopy frame and defining a ceiling wall, a front wall, a rear wall, and first and second sidewalls to enclose said canopy area therewithin for sheltering said vehicle, wherein said canopy shelter has a front entrance formed at said front wall for said vehicle entering into said canopy area; and   a side entrance arrangement for a driver accessing said canopy area without having to pass through said front entrance, wherein said side entrance arrangement has a first side entrance opening provided at said first sidewall of said canopy shelter for aligning with a driver vehicle door of said vehicle when said vehicle is parked within said canopy area, and comprises at least a fabric made first side door foldably mounted on said first sidewall to selectively enclose said first side entrance opening, wherein said side entrance arrangement is adapted to fold between an opened position and a closed position, wherein at said opened position, said first side door is folded to expose said first side entrance opening for said driver accessing said canopy area after said vehicle is parked within said canopy area, and at said closed position, said first side door is folded to enclose said first side entrance opening at said first sidewall of said canopy shelter.   
     
     
         14 . The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 13 , wherein said side entrance arrangement further has a second side entrance opening formed on said second sidewall of said canopy shelter for aligning with a passenger vehicle door of said vehicle, and comprises at least a fabric made second side door foldably mounted on said second sidewall to selectively enclose said second side entrance opening, wherein when said second side door is folded to exposed said second side entrance opening, said second side entrance opening forms another side entrance for a passenger accessing said canopy area without having to pass through said front entrance. 
     
     
         15 . The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 14 , wherein said side entrance arrangement further comprises a plurality of hook fasteners provided at surrounding edges of said first and second side entrance openings respectively, and a plurality of loop fasteners provided at peripheral edges of said first and second side doors to detachably fasten with said hook fasteners respectively so as to selectively expose one of said first and second side entrance openings. 
     
     
         16 . The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 14 , wherein said side entrance arrangement further comprise a side entrance zipper transversely formed at each of said first and second side doors with respect to said corresponding side door to define two door panels at each of said first and second side doors, wherein each of said side entrance zippers has first and second zipper elements which are attached to two inner side edges of said two door panels respectively and are detachably fastened with each other to enclose said respective first and second side entrance openings. 
     
     
         17 . The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 14 , further comprising at least a side window, wherein said side window comprises a window screen formed at one of said sidewalls of said canopy shelter and a window blind overlappingly mounted on said respective sidewall in a foldable manner to selectively enclose said window screen, such that said window blind is folded to enclose said window screen for preventing dust and rain entering into said canopy area and is folded to expose said window screen for enhancing an air ventilation of said canopy shelter and for allowing said canopy area being seen through said window screen. 
     
     
         18 . The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 14 , wherein said canopy shelter is detachably fastening at said canopy frame, wherein said canopy shelter comprises a top canopy supported by said roof frame to define said ceiling wall at said top canopy for shading said canopy area thereunder, and a leg fabric supported by said the legs frame to define said front wall, said rear wall, and said first and second sidewalls for surrounding said canopy area. 
     
     
         19 . An outdoor canopy for a vehicle, comprising:
 a canopy frame defining a canopy area for said vehicle parking therewithin;   a canopy shelter, which is made of waterproof fabric, being supported by said canopy frame and defining a ceiling wall, a front wall, a rear wall, and first and second sidewalls to enclose said canopy area therewithin for sheltering said vehicle, wherein said canopy shelter has a front entrance formed at said front wall for said vehicle entering into said canopy area; and   a plurality of ventilating skylights formed at said ceiling wall of said canopy shelter for enhancing air circulation within said canopy area, wherein each of said ventilating skylights has a skylight opening forming a roof window at said ceiling wall and comprises a fabric made skylight panel extended from said ceiling wall to foldably cover at said roof window such that when said skylight panel is upwardly lifted to expose said roof window, said skylight panel is adapted for allowing air ventilating from said canopy area through said roof window and for preventing dust and rain from entering into said canopy area.   
     
     
         20 . The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 19 , wherein each of said ventilating skylights comprises a roof shelter comprising a first roof fabric panel as said skylight panel, and a second roof fabric panel attached on said roof frame, wherein said first roof fabric panel is attached on said roof shelter and downwardly extended therefrom to partially and overlappedly cover said second roof fabric panel, wherein said skylight opening is formed as an opening between said first and said second roof fabric panels for communicating said canopy area with an exterior thereof via said skylight opening. 
     
     
         21 . The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 20 , wherein each of said ventilating skylights further comprises a skylight screen provided at said skylight opening for allowing air passing through said skylight opening while blocking unwanted objects from entering into said canopy area through said skylight opening. 
     
     
         22 . The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 21 , wherein each of said ventilating skylights further comprises means for selectively controlling said skylight opening between an opened position and a closed position. 
     
     
         23 . The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 21 , wherein said canopy frame comprises a roof frame and a legs frame downwardly and detachably extended from said roof frame to form said canopy area within said roof frame and said legs frame for said vehicle parking within said canopy area. 
     
     
         24 . The outdoor canopy, as recited in  claim 23 , wherein said canopy shelter is detachably fastening at said canopy frame, wherein said canopy shelter comprises a top canopy supported by said roof frame to define said ceiling wall at said top canopy for shading said canopy area thereunder, and a leg fabric supported by said the legs frame to define said front wall, said rear wall, and said first and second sidewalls for surrounding said canopy area.
