Abstract

The embodiments relate to a device and a method for spraying coatings of organic construction elements. The embodiments relate, in particular, to the spraying of coatings made up of components that do not dissolve in the same solvent, for example, and/or the spraying of a plurality of coatings one after the other. A plurality of spray heads is used, for example one after the other and/or next to one another.

An apparatus for spraying a sheet-like substrate, comprising an atomizer, a reservoir coupled to the reservoir and a holder for the atomizer and reservoir, the apparatus having at least two reservoirs, the atomizer having at least two spray heads with the apparatus being designed for multiple spraying of the same surface area. 
     
     
         15 . The apparatus as claimed in  claim 14 , wherein the spray heads being fixable at various locations in the atomizer. 
     
     
         16 . The apparatus as claimed in  claim 14 , wherein the spray heads being arranged around a perpendicular to a substrate arranged horizontally. 
     
     
         17 . The apparatus as claimed in  claim 14 , wherein each spray head being fed from an associated reservoir. 
     
     
         18 . A method, comprising spraying a sheet-like substrate with multiple layers being sprayed onto a same surface area. 
     
     
         19 . A method, comprising spraying a sheet-like substrate with different spraying agents being sprayed simultaneously onto a same surface area. 
     
     
         20 . The method as claimed in  claim 18 , further comprising different spraying agents being sprayed onto the same surface area. 
     
     
         21 . The method as claimed in  claim 20 , wherein the different spraying agents being sprayed simultaneously onto the same surface area. 
     
     
         22 . The method as claimed in  claim 18 , wherein the substrate being moved during the spraying. 
     
     
         23 . The method as claimed  claim 19 , wherein spray heads being moved in relation to one another or in relation to the substrate during the spraying.

An organic electronic device, comprising a substrate, a lower electrode and an organic active layer with an upper electrode over the organic active layer, a photoconductive organic layer being obtainable in the form of a bulk heterojunction by means of the method according to  claim 18 . 
     
     
         25 . An organic electronic device, comprising a substrate, a lower electrode and an organic active layer with an upper electrode over the organic active layer, with at least one layer being more than 350 nm thick and produced by a method according to  claim 18 .

An organic electronic device, comprising a substrate, a lower electrode, an organic intermediate layer and an organic photo-active layer with an upper electrode over the organic photo-active layer, and producing the organic photo-active layer as a bulk heterojunction and producing the organic intermediate layer by of an apparatus according to  claim 14 .
