Liquid container
Abstract
A liquid container comprises a container body ( 1 ) and a cap ( 2 ). The container body ( 1 ) has a circular tubular neck portion ( 13 ) with an outer peripheral surface provided with a protrusion ( 13 a ) for locking the cap ( 2 ). The cap ( 2 ) has a pair of lockable arms ( 24 ) arranged in a lateral direction and each provided with a hook portion ( 24 a ) adapted, during an operation of attaching the cap ( 2 ) to the container body ( 1 ), to be engaged with the locking protrusion ( 13 a ). Further, the cap ( 2 ) internally has a pair of first reinforcing ribs ( 26 ) each adapted to restrict a flexural displacement of a respective one of the lockable aims ( 24 ) in the lateral direction, and a pair of second reinforcing ribs ( 28 ) each connecting an inner surface of the cap and a respective one of the lockable arms ( 24 ) in a frontward-rearward direction.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A liquid container comprising: a container body which has a tubular neck portion, a shoulder portion continuous with the tubular neck portion, a liquid storage portion, and a nozzle held by the tubular neck portion; and a top-closed tubular cap attachable to the container body to cover a region from the nozzle to the shoulder portion,
characterized in that: the tubular neck portion of the container body has an outer peripheral surface provided with a protrusion for locking the cap; and the cap has a pair of lockable pieces provided on an inner top region thereof to extend along the tubular neck portion and arranged in a diametral direction of the tubular neck portion, wherein the cap is adapted to be locked with respect to the container body, in such a manner that, during an operation of attaching the cap to the container body along an axial direction of the tubular neck portion, the tubular neck portion is inserted between the lockable pieces, and a pair of engagement portions formed on respective opposing surfaces of the lockable pieces are engaged with the locking protrusion, and wherein the cap internally has
a pair of first reinforcing ribs each formed along a surface on an opposite side of a respective one of the opposing surfaces of the lockable pieces and adapted to restrict a flexural displacement of a respective one of the lockable pieces in the arrangement direction of the lockable pieces, and
a pair of second reinforcing ribs each connecting a respective one of the lockable pieces and an inner surface of the cap in a direction perpendicular to the arrangement direction of the lockable pieces.
2 . The liquid container as defined in claim 1 , characterized in that each of the engagement portions is provided in a distal end region of a corresponding one of the lockable pieces, and each of the first reinforcing ribs is formed over a region from a base end approximately to a distal end of a corresponding one of the lockable pieces, wherein a width of the first reinforcing rib in a direction perpendicular to a thicknesswise direction of the first reinforcing rib decreases in a direction from the base end to the distal end.
3 . The liquid container as defined in claim 2 , characterized in that each of the second reinforcing ribs is provided in a vicinity of the base end of a corresponding one of the lockable pieces.Cited by (0)
