Dishwasher

Abstract

A dishwasher having a washing container to accommodate dishes to be washed; a hot-water intake to supply the washing container with hot water from an external hot water supply; a storage container in thermally conductive contact with the washing container; and a cold-water intake fitting to supply the storage container with cold water from an external cold-water intake fitting.

1 . A dishwasher, comprising:
 a washing container to accommodate dishes to be washed;   a hot-water intake to supply the washing container with hot water from an external hot water supply;   a storage container in thermally conductive contact with the washing container; and   a cold-water intake fitting to supply the storage container with cold water from an external cold-water intake fitting.   
     
     
         2 . The dishwasher of  claim 1 , wherein the dishwasher is a domestic dishwasher. 
     
     
         3 . The dishwasher of  claim 1 , wherein the storage container is in surface-contact with the washing container. 
     
     
         4 . The dishwasher of  claim 3 , wherein the storage container is in surface-contact with a side wall of the washing container. 
     
     
         5 . The dishwasher of  claim 1 , further comprising a control device to automatically control a wash program, in which at least one of at an end or after the end of a rinse cycle and during a drying cycle a control valve of the cold-water intake fitting is opened at least for a predetermined time in order to supply the storage container with the cold water. 
     
     
         6 . The dishwasher of  claim 1 , wherein the cold-water intake fitting is opened at a start of the drying cycle at least for the predetermined time in order to fill the storage container with the cold water. 
     
     
         7 . The dishwasher of  claim 1 , wherein a controlled outlet that leads into the washing container is assigned to the storage container. 
     
     
         8 . The dishwasher of  claim 4 , further comprising a control device to automatically control of a wash program, in which, at a start of a wash program, a control valve of the controlled outlet of the storage container is opened at least for a predetermined time in order to supply the washing container with stored water from the storage container. 
     
     
         9 . The dishwasher of  claim 1 , wherein the storage container holds a volume of the cold water that is largely equal to a washing-bath volume required for a first wash cycle of a selected wash program. 
     
     
         10 . The dishwasher of  claim 9 , wherein the first wash cycle of the selected wash program is one of a prewash cycle and a cleaning cycle. 
     
     
         11 . The dishwasher of  claim 1 , wherein the hot-water intake fitting leads at least one of separately from the cold-water intake fitting into the washing container and additionally to the cold-water intake fitting into the storage container. 
     
     
         12 . The dishwasher of  claim 1 , wherein the storage container comprises an overflow that leads into the washing container. 
     
     
         13 . The dishwasher of  claim 1 , wherein an open flow length is assigned to at least one the hot-water intake fitting and the cold-water intake fitting. 
     
     
         14 . The dishwasher of  claim 1 , further comprising one of an external and appliance-fitted adapter to connect the hot-water intake fitting and the cold-water intake fitting to a common water supply. 
     
     
         15 . The dishwasher of  claim 14 , further comprising a control device to adapt at least one wash program when there is one of no connection between the hot-water intake fitting and the common water supply and no connection between the cold-water intake fitting and the common water supply. 
     
     
         16 . The dishwasher of  claim 1 , further comprising a control device structured such that the storage container contains the cold water during a drying cycle of a running wash program. 
     
     
         17 . The dishwasher of  claim 16 , wherein the storage container is completely filled with the cold water. 
     
     
         18 . The dishwasher of  claim 1 , further comprising a control device to control at least one of a control valve of the cold-water intake fitting and a control valve of the hot-water intake fitting and an outlet of the storage container such that, for at least one partial wash cycle of a wash cycle of a selected dishwashing program, at least one of the cold water and the hot water flows through the storage container and into the washing container.
