Abstract
A mounting bracket for removably mounting an accessory on a partition panel includes first and second side bracket members having a plurality of hooks configured for close reception in the vertical hanger slots of an associated panel frame. A back member extends between and operably connects the first and second side bracket members. The first and second side flanges each have a forward portion with a plurality of vertical support slots configured to receive and detachably retain therein a hanger portion of an associate accessory to detachably support the accessory on the mounting bracket.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 44 . (canceled)
45 . A mounting bracket for removably mounting an accessory on a partition panel of the type having a rigid frame defined, at least in part, by opposite side members with vertical hanger slots extending along the length thereof, said mounting bracket comprising:
first and second side bracket members, each having an upper portion thereof, and a rearward portion thereof with a plurality of hooks configured for close reception in the vertical hanger slots on the opposite side members of the panel frame to detachably support said first and second side bracket members on said panel frame in a laterally spaced apart, horizontally aligned relationship; and a back member extending between and operably connected with said upper portions of said first and second side bracket members, and having: a generally rectangular back panel normally disposed in a vertical orientation, and defined by an upper edge, a lower edge and opposite side edges; an upper flange extending along said upper edge of said back panel and protruding forwardly thereof; a lower flange extending along said lower edge of said back panel and protruding forwardly thereof in a generally parallel relationship with said upper flange; and first and second side flanges extending along said opposite side edges of said back member and protruding forwardly thereof in a generally perpendicular relationship with said upper and lower flanges; said first and second side flanges each having a forward portion thereof with a plurality of vertical support slots configured to receive and detachably retain therein a hanger portion of an associated accessory to detachably support the accessory on said mounting bracket.
46 . A mounting bracket as set forth in claim 45 , wherein:
said back panel, said upper flange, said lower flange and said first and second side flanges are integrally interconnected.
47 . A mounting bracket as set forth in claim 46 , wherein:
said back member defines a box-shaped receptor configured to receive a rear portion of the accessory therein.
48 . A mounting bracket as set forth in claim 45 , wherein:
said first and second bracket members each include a rear edge; and said hooks are disposed along said rear edge of each of said first and second bracket members and protrude rearwardly therefrom.
49 . A mounting bracket as set forth in claim 48 , wherein:
said hooks have a generally T-shaped side elevational shape.
50 . A mounting bracket assembly for removably mounting an accessory on a partition panel of the type having a rigid frame defined, at least in part, by opposite side members with vertical hanger slots extending along the length thereof, said mounting bracket assembly comprising:
first and second side bracket members, each having a rearward portion thereof with a plurality of hooks configured for close reception in the vertical hanger slots on the opposite side members of the panel frame to detachably support said first and second side bracket members on said panel frame in a laterally spaced apart, horizontally aligned relationship, and a forward portion thereof with a plurality of vertical support slots configured to receive and detachably retain therein a hanger portion of an associated accessory to detachably support the accessory on said mounting bracket assembly; said hooks on the rearward portion of each of said first and second side bracket members being disposed at an angle relative to said vertical support slots on the forward portion of each of said first and second bracket members, such that after insertion of said hooks into the vertical hanger slots in the opposite side members of said panel frame, said first and second bracket members are pivoted laterally to shift the same into an installed position, wherein said support slots on said first and second bracket members assume a forwardly facing, generally parallel relationship; and a back member extending between said first and second bracket members, and being detachably connected therewith to retain the same in said installed position, and thereby positively prevent inadvertent dislodgement of said mounting bracket assembly from the panel frame.
51 . A mounting bracket assembly as set forth in claim 50 , wherein:
said first and second side bracket members have a generally U-shaped configuration defined by first and second generally parallel legs connected by a base member; said hooks extending from a rearward edge of said first leg; and said support slots are disposed along said base member.
52 . A mounting bracket assembly as set forth in claim 51 , wherein:
said hooks are disposed at an acute angle with respect to said support slots.
53 . A mounting bracket assembly as set forth in claim 52 , wherein:
said back member is generally rectangular and includes a marginal flange.
54 . A mounting bracket assembly as set forth in claim 53 , including:
fasteners detachably connecting said first and second bracket members with the marginal flange of said back member.
