Abstract
A method for touch panel operation is disclosed. A touch is detected on a first touch panel, and reception of input from the first touch panel is prevented based on a predetermined deactivating operation.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A mobile terminal device comprising:
a display module comprising a display panel thereon; a detection module operable to detect a detected touch on the display module to obtain a detected input; a control processing module operable to perform control based on the detected touch and operable to prevent reception of the detected input based on a deactivating operation.
2 . The mobile terminal device according to claim 1 , wherein the control processing module is further operable to reduce luminance of the display module based on the deactivating operation.
3 . The mobile terminal device according to claim 1 , wherein the control processing module prevents the reception of the detected input, if the deactivating operation comprises the detected input.
4 . The mobile terminal device according to claim 1 , further comprising a plurality of display modules and detection modules, wherein the control processing module is further operable to prevent a reception of the detected input by one of the detection modules based on the deactivating operation performed on the one of detection modules.
5 . The mobile terminal device according to claim 4 , wherein the control processing module is further operable to prevent a reception of an input from a second detection module based on an input to one detection module of the detection modules.
6 . The mobile terminal device according to claim 5 , wherein the control processing module is further operable to allow the reception of the input from the second detection module based on an input to the one detection module.
7 . The mobile terminal device according to claim 1 , wherein the control processing module is further operable to:
set the detection module to an operating state comprising cancelling prevention of the reception of the detected input from the detection module; and set the detection module to a non-operating state based on the deactivating operation.
8 . The mobile terminal device according to claim 1 , further comprising a key, wherein the key is at a location separate from the detection module, wherein the control processing module is operable to prevent reception of the detected input based on a deactivating operation.
9 . The mobile terminal device according to claim 1 , wherein the control processing module is further operable to cancel the prevention of the reception of the detected input through the detection module based on detection of a specific interrupt process.
10 . The mobile terminal device according to claim 9 , wherein the specific interrupt process comprises an incoming call interrupt.
11 . A method for operating a dual touch panel mobile terminal device, the method comprising:
detecting a touch on a first touch panel to obtain a detected touch input; and preventing reception of the detected input from the first touch panel based on a deactivating operation.
12 . The method according to claim 11 , further comprising reducing luminance of a display module based on the deactivating operation.
13 . The method according to claim 11 , further comprising preventing reception of the detect input from the first touch panel, if the deactivating operation is carried out on an input to the first touch panel.
14 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising preventing reception of detected input from a third touch panel of a plurality of touch panels, if the deactivating operation is performed for the third touch panel.
15 . The method according to claim 14 , further comprising preventing reception of input from a second touch panel based on an input to a fourth touch panel of the touch panels.
16 . The method according to claim 11 , further comprising:
setting a non-operating state based on the deactivating operation, the non-operating state comprising preventing reception of input from the first touch panel; and returning to an operating state based on a canceling operation, operating state comprising allowing reception of input from the first touch panel.
17 . The method according to claim 11 , further comprising canceling preventing reception of input from the first touch panel in response to detection of a specific interrupt process.
18 . The method according to claim 17 , wherein the specific interrupt process comprises an incoming call interrupt.
19 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the deactivating operation comprises activation of a sleep key.Cited by (0)
