Abstract
A magazine storage device is disclosed. The magazine storage device is part of an end stock assembly for a long gun and may have a plate that is formed to complement the shape of a magazine. The magazine storage device may secure a magazine in a recess. The magazine may be frictionally secured. The magazine may be flush with the end stock when inserted.

an insert having at least one magazine recess, the at least one magazine recess being configured to accept at least one magazine that is configured to be inserted into a magazine port of a firearm receiver, wherein the insert is configured to be secured within an opening in a firearm end stock.
2 . The magazine storage device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one magazine recess is configured to frictionally secure at least one magazine.
3 . The magazine storage device of claim 1 , further comprising a plate connected to the firearm end stock, wherein at least a portion of the plate has a substantially complementary shape to at least one side of at least one magazine.
4 . The magazine storage device of claim 1 , wherein the insert has a plurality of magazine recesses, each configured to accept at least one magazine.
5 . An end stock comprising:
a body having a shoulder plate; a first opening in the body, the first opening being positioned to one side of the shoulder plate and being configured to secure at least one magazine, wherein the first opening has a shape and contours that substantially mirror the shape and contours of a portion of the at least one magazine.
6 . The end stock of claim 5 , the body further comprising a top portion and a lower portion extending from the top portion, the lower portion including the first opening.
7 . The end stock of claim 6 , wherein the top portion, and the lower portion are formed as a single piece and the first opening is formed within the single piece.
8 . The end stock of claim 5 , wherein the first opening is configured to frictionally secure at least one magazine.

10 . The end stock of claim 5 , further comprising a plate, the plate being molded to match at least a portion of at least one magazine.
11 . The end stock of claim 5 , further comprising at least a second opening configured to secure at least one magazine.
12 . The end stock of claim 11 , further comprising a plate substantially covering one side of the first and second openings and having two contoured portions that each are substantially complementary to the contour of at least a portion of at least one magazine.
13 . The end stock of claim 11 , the body further comprising a top portion and a lower portion extending from the top portion, wherein the first opening and the second opening are formed into the lower portion.
14 . The end stock of claim 11 , further wherein at least one magazine is flush with the end stock when secured within the first opening.
15 . A firearm comprising:
a firearm stock; a receiver connected to the firearm stock and having a magazine port; at least one magazine that is adapted to be inserted into the magazine port; an end stock having a first side and a second side and being connected to the firearm stock, the end stock comprising at least a first recess, the first recess extending from the first side toward the second side and being configured to secure at least one magazine to the end stock.
16 . The firearm of claim 15 , wherein the recess is configured to frictionally secure the at least one magazine.
17 . The firearm of claim 15 , further comprising a plate connected to the end stock, wherein the first recess extends through the second side and the plate is configured to connect to the first side to substantially cover the recess.

19 . The firearm of claim 15 , further comprising at least a second recess configured to secure at least one magazine.
20 . The firearm of claim 15 , wherein the firearm is a .22 caliber long gun.
21 . The magazine storage device of claim 1 , wherein the first opening has a shape and contours that substantially mirror the shape and contours of a portion of the at least one magazine.
22 . The end stock of claim 5 , wherein the first opening extends from one side of the end stock through to another side of the end stock.Cited by (0)
