Container for a blender
Abstract
A container ( 15 ) for a blender ( 10 ) includes a bottom surface ( 16 ) having a non-symmetrically shaped perimeter. A side wall ( 17 ) extends upwardly from the perimeter of the bottom surface ( 16 ). A mixing blade assembly ( 20 ) having a plurality of blades ( 21 ) is located above the bottom surface ( 16 ) and is rotatable on an axis which is displaced from the center of the bottom surface ( 10 ). Nonuniform spaces ( 25, 26 ) are thus created between the ends of the blades ( 21 ) and the side wall ( 17 ). The bottom surface ( 16 ) is inclined at an angle relative to the plane normal to the axis of rotation of the blade assembly ( 20 ), and it, as well as the side wall ( 17 ), may be provided with a plurality of spaced vanes ( 31, 32 ).
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A blending container comprising:
a mixing blade which rotates on an axis; a bottom positioned below the mixing blade; and a first wall, a second wall, a third wall, and a fourth wall each of which extends upward from the bottom and is planar; wherein the first wall faces the third wall and the second wall faces the fourth wall; wherein an area where the second wall meets the third wall forms an at least substantially right angle, and an area where the third wall meets the fourth wall forms an at least substantially right angle; and wherein an area where the first wall meets the fourth wall is positioned closer to the axis than the area where the second wall meets the third wall; and wherein the area where the first wall meets the fourth wall and the area where the second wall meets the third wall are at the same height on the blending container.
2 . The blending container of claim 1 wherein an area where the first wall meets the second wall forms an at least substantially right angle.
3 . The blending container of claim 1 comprising a handle positioned adjacent to the area where the first wall meets the fourth wall.
4 . The blending container of claim 1 , wherein the first wall, the second wall, the third wall, and the fourth wall define an opening that has a generally rectangular shape.
5 . The blending container of claim 1 wherein the area where the second wall meets the third wall forms a corner that extends straight up a side of the blending container.
6 . The blending container of claim 1 wherein the area where the first wall meets the fourth wall moves the vortex created when liquid is blended inside the container away from being over the axis.
7 . The blending container of claim 2 wherein the axis is positioned closer to the area where the first wall meets the fourth wall than to the area where the first wall meets the second wall, the area where the second wall meets the third wall, or the area where the third wall meets the fourth wall.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
