Gaming device having a second separate bonusing event

Abstract

A gaming system wherein a second game is triggered once a specific event occurs in a first game.

1 . A gaming machine system for playing a bonusing event comprising;
 at least two gaming machines linked together;   said gaming machines allowing a player to play a first regular game on said at least two gaming machines;   said gaming machines linked to an interactive sign;   said interactive sign comprising a bonusing event;   a mechanism linked to said interactive sign which allows a player to operate a second game from any of said gaming machines linked to said interactive sign;   said second game is a bonusing video game playing on said interactive sign.   
     
     
         2 . The gaming machine system of  claim 1  wherein a player reaches said bonusing video game based upon symbols appearing on said gaming machine. 
     
     
         3 . The gaming machine system of  claim 1  wherein a player reaches said bonusing video game based upon number of coins placed in a specific gaming machine. 
     
     
         4 . The gaming machine system of  claim 1  wherein a player reaches said bonusing video game based upon number of coins entered in all linked gaming machines. 
     
     
         5 . The gaming machine system of  claim 1  wherein a bonus award is supplemental to an original award at said gaming machine. 
     
     
         6 . The gaming machine system of  claim 5  wherein said bonus award is cash, a prize, redeemable for services, currency, discounts or other goods of value. 
     
     
         7 . The gaming machine system of  claim 1  further comprising a device for alerting a player when they are entering said bonusing video game. 
     
     
         8 . The gaming system of  claim 5  wherein said bonus award is generated from a percentage of total coins placed into all gaming machines which are linked to said interactive sign. 
     
     
         9 . The gaming system of  claim 1  further comprising a dispenser for dispensing tickets, papers or cards. 
     
     
         10 . The gaming system of  claim 9  wherein said tickets, papers or cards entitles a user to play said bonusing video game on a separate gaming machine. 
     
     
         11 . The gaming system of  claim 1  wherein at least two gaming machines enter said bonusing video game during same play. 
     
     
         12 . The gaming system of  claim 1  wherein players playing said linked gaming machines who enter said bonusing video game compete against each other at said bonusing video game. 
     
     
         13 . The gaming system of  claim 1  wherein said gaming machines are selected from the group consisting of slot machines, video poker, video bingo and video keno. 
     
     
         14 . The gaming system of  claim 1  wherein said bonusing video game is a wheel which has various monetary denominations around it. 
     
     
         15 . The gaming system of  claim 1  wherein said bonusing video game is an LCD Screen where a player plays one on one with a casino dealer on said screen. 
     
     
         16 . The gaming system of  claim 1  wherein said bonusing video game is a ferris wheel that unloads coins when one of said linked gaming machines triggers said bonusing video game. 
     
     
         17 . The gaming system of  claim 1  further comprising:
 a video monitor at each of said gaming machines. 
 
     
     
         18 . The gaming machine system of  claim 1  wherein said interactive sign comprises a game board. 
     
     
         19 . The gaming machine system of  claim 1  wherein said game board is monopoly. 
     
     
         20 . The gaming machine system of  claim 18  wherein said player plays against a computer or other players. 
     
     
         21 . A process for entering a bonusing video game comprising;
 placing a coin in a gaming machine;   said gaming machine linked to at least one other gaming machine and an interactive sign;   said interactive sign comprising a bonusing video game;   playing a game on said gaming machine;   alerting a player if they have entered said bonusing video game;   playing said bonusing video game if a player enters said bonusing video game.   
     
     
         22 . The process of  claim 21  further comprising, dispensing a ticket or card when a player enters said bonusing video game. 
     
     
         23 . The process of  claim 21  further comprising;
 generating a bonus prize from a percentage of total coins placed into all participating gaming machines. 
 
     
     
         24 . A gaming machine system comprising:
 at least two gaming machines linked together, said gaming machines linked to an interactive sign;
 said at least two gaming machines allowing at least two players to play a first regular game on said at least two gaming machines; 
 a device connected to said gaming machines to direct said at least two players to play a second game after satisfying a certain operation of the linked gaming machines that triggers the bonusing event; 
 said second game is a bonusing video game played on said interactive sign; 
 said interactive sign comprising an LCD screen; 
 said LCD screen displaying said bonusing video game that players enter once said bonusing trigger event occurs on at least one of the said at least two linked gaming machines; 
 wherein said LCD interactive sign allowing said at least two players playing said at least two linked gaming machines enter said bonusing video game and compete against each other by playing said bonusing video game on said LCD interactive sign.
