Abstract
An exercise towel/equipment cover may be used to cover a piece of exercise equipment and protect a user from past user's sweat, germs, viruses and the like. The towel may include a gripper surface on a back side thereof to increase friction between the towel and the equipment. The towel may also include a pouch formed in one end thereof. The pouch may further help secure the towel to a piece of exercise equipment. The towel may be made of an anti-microbial fabric that may be resistant to mold.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A fabric cover comprising:
a gripper surface on at least a portion of a back side of the fabric cover; and a pouch formed in one end of the fabric cover, the pouch adapted to fit over an end of a surface to be covered, wherein the pouch is formed by folding the end of the fabric cover onto itself and stitching along the sides thereof.
2 . The fabric cover of claim 1 , wherein the stitching is formed on the fabric cover when the fabric cover is inside out, thereby providing stitching on the inside of the pouch.
3 . The fabric cover of claim 1 , wherein the pouch has a depth from about 2 to about 6 inches.
4 . The fabric cover of claim 1 , wherein the fabric cover is formed from an anti-microbial material.
5 . The fabric cover of claim 4 , wherein the anti-microbial material is a woven pine material.
6 . The fabric cover of claim 1 , wherein the gripper surface is formed from gripper dots disposed on the entire back side of the fabric cover.
7 . The fabric cover of claim 1 , wherein the gripper surface has a friction coefficient greater than that of the fabric cover.
8 . An exercise equipment cover comprising:
a gripper surface on at least a portion of a back side of the exercise equipment cover; and a pouch formed in one end of the exercise equipment cover, the pouch adapted to fit over an end of a piece of exercise equipment, wherein the exercise equipment cover is formed from a material comprising woven pine.
9 . The exercise equipment cover of claim 8 , wherein:
the pouch is formed by folding the end of the exercise equipment cover onto itself and stitching along the sides thereof; and the pouch has a depth from about 2 to about 6 inches.
10 . The exercise equipment cover of claim 8 , wherein the gripper surface is applied directly to the back side of the exercise equipment cover by applying a gripper surface material as a plurality of molted drops.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
