Abstract
Apparatus, methods and articles of manufacture for monitoring financial information and executing financial transactions are disclosed. A client side interface comprises a number of panels, which are constructed by way of applications from various data sources. The panels can be customized as to content and appearance on the client, and the interface can be any one of a number of interfaces, including web pages, email interfaces and alert interfaces. The data sources are further provided, at least in part, by way of a value added content provider system, which comprises creating, editing and publishing interfaces.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 .- 36 . (canceled)
37 . A processor-implemented method for providing a customized interface, comprising:
receiving via a processor content data from a plurality of content sources; receiving via the processor at least one interface customization parameter; receiving via the processor at least one user-selected interface panel from a plurality of non-customized interface panels; pre-selecting, in accordance with the received customization parameter, at least one interface panel from the plurality of non-customized interface panels; constructing via the processor customized interface panels by providing each of the received and pre-selected interface panels with content data received from at least one content source selected from the plurality of content sources in accordance with the received customization parameter; and generating via the processor a customized graphical user interface from the constructed customized interface panels in accordance with the received customization parameter.
38 . The method of claim 37 , further comprising:
providing the generated graphical user interface for display on a client-side graphical user interface.
39 . The method of claim 38 , wherein the client-side graphical user interface is one of a webpage, an email interface or an alert interface.
40 . The method of claim 39 , further comprising:
configuring a plurality of pre-selected interface panels with content data received from at least one of the plurality of content sources; and generating a customized email interface from the configured plurality of pre-selected interface panels.
41 . The method of claim 40 , wherein:
the generated customized graphical user interface is a webpage, and said webpage is accessible from the generated customized email interface.
42 . The method of claim 37 , further comprising:
configuring an interactive alert interface having multiple tabbed interfaces, wherein at least one of the tabbed interfaces displays content data aggregated from other of the tabbed interfaces.
43 . The method of claim 42 , wherein the customized graphical user interface is a webpage and the alert interface is integrated within the webpage.
44 . The method of claim 37 , wherein the content data provided to each of the received and pre-selected interface panels is obtained after filtering content data from the plurality of content sources using applications selected in accordance with the customization parameter.
45 . The method of claim 37 , wherein the received content from the plurality of content sources includes value added content.
46 . The method of claim 45 , further comprising providing an editorial interface for creating, editing and publishing the value added content.
47 . The method of claim 46 , wherein the editorial interface further comprises a rapid content removal tool.
48 . The method of claim 37 , wherein the content sources receive content data from at least one of market data feeds, financial information providing historical data resources and data feeds for particular financial instruments.
49 . A non-transitory processor-readable medium having processor-executable program instructions residing thereon, wherein the processor-executable program instructions are issuable by a processor to:
receive content data from a plurality of content sources; receive at least one interface customization parameter; receive at least one user-selected interface panel from a plurality of non-customized interface panels; pre-select, in accordance with the received customization parameter, at least one interface panel from the plurality of non-customized interface panels; construct customized interface panels by providing each of the received and pre-selected interface panels with content data received from at least one content source selected from the plurality of content sources in accordance with the received customization parameter; and generate a customized graphical user interface from the constructed customized interface panels in accordance with the received customization parameter.
50 . The processor-readable medium of claim 49 , wherein the processor-executable program instructions are issuable by a processor to:
configure a plurality of pre-selected interface panels with content data received from at least one of the plurality of content sources; and generate a customized email interface from the configured plurality of pre-selected interface panels.
51 . The processor-readable medium of claim 49 , wherein the processor-executable program instructions are issuable by a processor to:
configure an interactive alert interface having multiple tabbed interfaces, wherein at least one of the tabbed interfaces displays content data aggregated from other of the tabbed interfaces.
52 . The processor-readable medium of claim 49 , wherein the processor-executable program instructions are issuable by a processor to:
provide an editorial interface for creating, editing and publishing value added content, wherein the received content from the plurality of content sources includes the value added content.
53 . A system, comprising:
a memory; a processor disposed in communication with the memory, and configured to issue a plurality of processing instructions to the memory, wherein the processor issues instructions to:
receive content data from a plurality of content sources;
receive at least one interface customization parameter;
receive at least one user-selected interface panel from a plurality of non-customized interface panels;
pre-select, in accordance with the received customization parameter, at least one interface panel from the plurality of non-customized interface panels;
construct customized interface panels by providing each of the received and pre-selected interface panels with content data received from at least one content source selected from the plurality of content sources in accordance with the received customization parameter; and
generate a customized graphical user interface from the constructed customized interface panels in accordance with the received customization parameter.
54 . The system of claim 53 , wherein the processor issues instructions to:
configure a plurality of pre-selected interface panels with content data received from at least one of the plurality of content sources; and generate a customized email interface from the configured plurality of pre-selected interface panels.
55 . The system of claim 53 , wherein the processor issues instructions to:
configure an interactive alert interface having multiple tabbed interfaces, wherein at least one of the tabbed interfaces displays content data aggregated from other of the tabbed interfaces.
56 . The system of claim 53 , wherein the processor issues instructions to:
provide an editorial interface for creating, editing and publishing value added content, wherein the received content from the plurality of content sources includes the value added content.Cited by (0)
