Abstract
The invention relates to an edge strip for pieces of furniture, comprising a basic-body element ( 1 ) with an underside ( 2 ), which can be positioned against a piece of furniture, and with a top side ( 3, 4 ), which is directed away from the underside, wherein the top side has at least one transition portion ( 3 ) which slopes down in the direction of a periphery of the underside. In order to improve the visual and aesthetic appearance of the edge strip in relation to a conventional edge strip, it is provided according to the invention that the transition portion exhibits, at least in part, a decoration ( 5 ).
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An edge strip for pieces of furniture ( 6 ), having a base body ( 1 ), the base body having an underside ( 2 ) which can be attached to a piece of furniture ( 2 ), and also having an upper side ( 3 , 4 ) which faces the opposite direction from the underside ( 2 ), the upper side ( 3 , 4 ) having at least one transition segment ( 3 ) which slopes down toward a longitudinal edge (UR, OR) of the base body ( 1 ), the transition segment ( 3 ) having a decoration ( 5 ) over at least a part of its area, wherein the decoration ( 5 ) is imprinted on the base body ( 1 ) of the edge strip.
. An edge strip according to claim 1 , wherein the transition segment ( 3 ) has a curvature, preferably a curvature with a constant curve radius.
. An edge strip according to claim 1 , wherein the transition segment ( 3 ) has a surface which is inclined with respect to the underside ( 2 ).
. An edge strip according to claim 1 , wherein the transition segment ( 3 ) directly borders on a longitudinal edge (UR, OR) of the base body ( 1 ).
. An edge strip according to claim 1 , wherein the decoration fully covers the transition segment ( 3 ).
. An edge strip according to claim 1 , wherein the decoration ( 5 ) fully covers the upper side ( 3 , 4 ) of the base body of the edge strip.
. (canceled)
. An edge strip according to claim 1 , wherein the base body (I) is made of a material selected from a group of materials of plastic, metal, wood and glass.
. An edge strip according to claim 1 , wherein the base body ( 1 ) is an extruded plastic profile.
. An edge strip according to claim 1 , wherein the base body ( 1 ) is made of a material selected from a group of materials consisting of polyamide (PA), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer (ABS), polycarbonate (PC), styrene butadiene (SB), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA).
. An edge strip according to claim 1 , wherein the base body ( 1 ) of the edge strip has a width of 10 mm to 150 mm, preferably 15 mm to 51) mm, and more preferably 20 mm to 30 mm.
. A piece of furniture ( 6 ) having an edge strip according to claim 1 , wherein the edge strip is affixed to an end face ( 7 ) of the piece of furniture ( 6 ).
. A piece of furniture according to claim 12 , wherein a maximum projection of the edge strip beyond a longitudinal edge of the end face ( 7 ) of the piece of furniture ( 6 ) is approx. 0.7 mm, preferably 0.5 mm, and more preferably 0.2 mm.
. A piece of furniture according to claim 12 , wherein at least one longitudinal edge (OR, UR) of the base body ( 1 ) of the edge strip lies flush against a longitudinal edge of the end face ( 7 ) of the piece of furniture ( 6 ).
. An edge strip according to claim 2 , wherein the transition segment ( 3 ) has a surface which is inclined with respect to the underside ( 2 ).
. An edge strip according to claim 2 , wherein the transition segment ( 3 ) directly borders on a longitudinal edge (UR, OR) of the base body ( 1 ).
. An edge strip according to claim 3 , wherein the transition segment ( 3 ) directly borders on a longitudinal edge (UR, OR) of the base body ( 1 )
. An edge strip according to claim 2 , wherein the decoration fully covers the transition segment ( 3 ).
. An edge strip according to claim 3 , wherein the decoration fully covers the transition segment ( 3 ).
. An edge strip according to claim 4 , wherein the decoration fully covers the transition segment ( 3 ).Cited by (0)
