An adjustable and replaceable scraper includes a handle, an extender movably mounted in the handle, a replaceable blade mounted on the extender. The extender is able to move relative to the handle for adjusting a distance relative to the handle. The replaceable blade is able to be replaced.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An adjustable and replaceable scraper, comprising: a handle, the handle having an elongated slot defined therein and extending along an axis thereof, the handle having a through hole defined in a top side thereof and extending through to a bottom side thereof, the through hole communicated with the elongated slot; an extender movably inserted into the elongated slot in the handle, the extender having a body and a head extending from the body, the body having multiple positioning holes defined therein and passing therethrough, the body having a groove defined therein and passing therethrough, the groove disposed along a length of the body and communicated with the positioning holes, each positioning hole having a diameter greater than a width of the groove, the head of the extender having a width grater than that of the body, the head having two blockers respectively extending from two laterals thereof, the head having a screw hole defined therein and passing therethrough; a holder mounted on the head of the extender, the holder having a body and a head extending from the body, the head of the holder corresponding to the head of the extender such that a width of the head of the holder is equal to that of the head of the extender, the head of the holder confined by the two blockers of the extender, a replaceable blade sandwiched between the head of the extender and the head of the holder, the replaceable blade confined by two blockers, a screw passing through the head of the holder, the replaceable blade, and screwing into the screw hole in the head of the extender; a button mounted on the top side of the handle and partially passing through the through hole, the button having a rod extending therefrom, the rod having a diameter substantially equal to the width of the groove, a spring compressively received in through hole and passed by the rod; and a stopper mounted on the bottom side of the handle, the stopper having a tube extending therefrom for partially receiving the rod of the button, the stopper having a shoulder annularly disposed on the tube for selectively engaging with the positioning holes, the shoulder having a diameter substantially equal to that of each positioning hole; wherein the replaceable blade is fixed between the holder and extender; when the replaceable blade is consumed, the original replaceable blade can be easily replaced to a new one; wherein when the shoulder of the stopper is engaged with one of the positioning holes, the extender is fixed in the handle; when the button is pressed and the spring is compressed, the rod of the button is fallen into the groove such that the extender is able to adjust a distance relative the handle.
