Abstract

The present invention is related to an aqueous conditioning composition for hair comprising at least one alkyl ester/amido alkyl amine or alkyl ester/amido alkyl quaternary amine and an aqueous emulsion of divinyldimethicone/dimethicone copolymer with an internal phase viscosity of more than 1×10 8 mm 2 /s measured at 0.01 Hz and at approximately 25° C.

1 . Aqueous conditioning composition for hair comprising at least one at least one compound according to general structure

         wherein R 1 , A and R 2  have the above meaning and X is chloride, bromide, methosulfate and an aqueous emulsion of divinyldimethicone/dimethicone copolymer with an internal phase viscosity of more than 1×10 8  mm 2 /s measured at 0.01 Hz at 25° C. 
       
     
     
         2 . Composition according to  claim 1 , wherein aqueous emulsion of divinyldimethicone/dimethicone copolymer has a viscosity of higher than 1.1×10 8  mm 2 /s, and more preferably higher than 1.2×10 8  mm 2 /s measure at 0.01 Hz at 25° C. 
     
     
         3 . Composition according to  claim 1 , wherein amine and ammonium compounds are present at a total concentration in the range of 0.01 to 20% by weight and calculated to total composition, divinyldimethicone/dimethicone copolymer is comprised at a concentration of 0.01 to 10% by weight, calculated to total composition as Divinyldimethicone/dimethicone copolymer. 
     
     
         4 . Composition according to  claim 1 , wherein at least one conditioning agent is selected from oily substances, nonionic substances, cationic amphiphilic ingredients and cationic polymers or their mixtures. 
     
     
         5 . Composition according to  claim 4 , wherein at least one conditioning agent is selected from cationic surfactants according to general formula 
       
         
           
           
               
               
           
         
         where R 10  is a saturated or unsaturated, branched or non-branched alkyl chain with 8-24 C atoms and R 11  is unsaturated or saturated, branched or non-branched alkyl chain with 1-24 C atoms and R 12  and R 13  are lower alkyl chain with 1 to 4 carbon atoms which may be substituted with one or more hydroxyl groups, and X is anion such as chloride, bromide, and methosulfate, cationic polymers and a silicone oil. 
       
     
     
         6 . Composition according to  claim 1 , comprising at least one compound according to the formula 
       
         
           
           
               
               
           
         
         where n is a number between 1 and 10, and/or at least one UV filter and/or at least one polyphenol. 
       
     
     
         7 . Composition according to  claim 1 , comprising at least one organic solvent. 
     
     
         8 . Composition according to  claim 1 , comprising at least one direct dye. 
     
     
         9 . Composition according to  claim 1 , wherein the compositions are cleansing and conditioning composition (shampoo) and comprising at least one surfactant selected from anionic, nonionic and amphoteric or zwitterionic surfactants at a concentration of 5 to 50% by weight calculated to the total composition. 
     
     
         10 . Composition according to  claim 1 , comprising at least one anionic surfactant and/or at least one non-ionic surfactant and/or at least one amphoteric surfactant. 
     
     
         11 . Composition according to  claim 1 , comprising at least one compound according to general formula 
       
         
           
           
               
               
           
         
         wherein R 14  is straight or branched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl chain with 4 to 24 C atoms, and R 15  is H, or straight or branched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl chain with 4 to 24 C atoms. 
       
     
     
         12 . Composition according to  claim 1 , wherein it has a pH in the range of 2.0 to 8.0. 
     
     
         13 . Composition according to  claim 1 , wherein an emulsion and comprises at least one fatty alcohol according to general formula
   R 20 —OH
   where R 20  is a saturated or unsaturated, branched or non-branched fatty acyl chain with 8-24 C atoms.

         15 . Method of conditioning hair wherein a composition according to  claim 1  is applied onto hair and optionally rinsed off from hair after a processing time of 1 to 30 min.
