Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An apheresis device comprising a solid carrier capable of being contacted with the blood or plasma flow, wherein the solid carrier includes an amyloid-β-precursor-protein (APP)-binding receptor.
2 . A device according to claim 1 , wherein the APP-binding receptor is selected from an anti-APP antibody, an anti-Aβ 40 antibody, an anti-Aβ 42 antibody, an APP-binding protein, an APP-binding peptide, an APP-binding gangloside, an APP-binding nucleic acid acids, or a combination thereof.
3 . A device according to claim 1 , wherein the carrier is a sterile and pyrogen-free column.
4 . (canceled)
5 . A device according to claim 2 , wherein the carrier is a sterile and pyrogen-free column.
6 . A device according to claim 1 , wherein the APP-binding receptor is an APP-binding protein selected from the group consisting of gelsolin, apoJ and apoE.
7 . A device according to claim 1 , wherein the anti-APP-antibody is an anti-Abeta 40 antibody.
8 . A device according to claim 1 , wherein the anti-APP-antibody is an anti-Abeta 42 antibody.Cited by (0)
